We have 2 openings in the Laseron Baseball Association, a fictional league in a fictional world so if your a writer the storylines are endless if you don't write your as welcome as anyone.

At this present time we are in the early rounds of the inaugural draft so unlike some leagues you can get the players you want, not what other owners have left you with. We have gone through the first 3 rounds but this will not effect you in the short term if you take a team, reason being the league took a different spin on the draft and in the first 3 rounds only players 20 years or younger could be drafted so the cream of the draft is still there.

Anyway feel free to have a look in on the forum or pm me, and feel free to ask any questions that maybe on your mind.

ps The first 3 rounds were done on the forums, the rest of the draft will be done through StatsLab which is looking like a start date of Friday this will give potential owners time to make a list.

The 3rd round of the inaugural draft as just finished, remember the frist 3 rounds were players 20 years or younger so the next rounds will be the ones that will mould your team for the upcoming seasons.

Looks like there's something wrong with our website's database. I've been having problems here and there with the provider and am looking at getting everything on allsimbaseball.

For now, just check us out at the forums where you can apply by posting in the waiting list thread. Its called "waiting list" but yes there are teams open now.

Just wanted to say that Goody, Dark Horse, ukhotstove et.al. make this a great league to get into. This will be my first online league and I can't wait to get to opening day. Stop by and check out ifspuds draft recap.

Jacks correct on ifspuds draft recap written in the LBA Insider, a great read. He does however fail to mention another great read in the writings of Penn Jennings, another good read well a couple amongst many is the new Tempura Times and KGEO presents at the Dish. This isn't a writing league meaning we don't make you write or feel you have to by offering bonus points and such, this way we feel it makes the writers and non writers just as important to the league.

1 of our openings as been filled, if your interested in the LBA then you may want to contact us as we have only 1 opening left. No salesmanship but this is a strong core of owners so openings may be few and far between in the future.

At this moment we are having problems with the site, the sim schedule if memory serves me right is that we sim every 3rd day so an example would be sim Thursday-Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday and so on with 7 days in game being simmed.

If you'd like to ask anymore questions are forum is still up and running or you could ask on here or pm me and I'll answer them for you, link for the forum is in our Commish Goodys last post.

He is right about the league site. Sorry about that.

When I get home later this morning I will post the rules to a thread on our message board so they will be accessable there for the short term.

We are going to sim 7 days at a time with there being at least 48 hours between each sim. I don't work a normal 9 to 5 Mon through Fri...is the reason for this.

So each time a sim is finished, the next deadline is 48 hours away.

I know its slow for some people but the focus for us is on immersion and the story as well as the competition.

Nice concept. If I ever find the time for another league, I'll definitely apply for any waitlist that may exist.

Hey goody and ukhotstove, thanks very much for your replies. I'll follow along for a while, work commitments are such that every 48 hours is probably a bit too often for me (!)

I've been interested in the rebirth or laseron since it was first brought up as a possibility and just wish I had the time to join the fun. Good luck!

Well, the 48 hours is just the minimum. I won't always be on after 48 hours to sim immediately.

And if you miss an export, its only one week. Such short sims allow us to take a closer look at the results but also allow us to do them more often.

Thanks for the words of support! You're always welcome to get on our waiting list or just stop by and join the discussions.

I know when your on a waiting list that it does seem as your left hanging but we encourage people on the list to be involved in the league, in fact some owners would be happy for you to be involved in their teams like scouting, ideas and such that will help you if you take over a team down the line.
