I posted this in the OOTP forums, since it has to do with our OOTP9 league (the original FOOL league), but it is all part of the same community:
Our original league is celebrating its 75th season! http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...th-season.html

Speaking of our 75th season, here's the list of the Top 75 teams from FOOL's first 74 years (I finished this just before the 75th season kicked off...)
A fun retrospective of seven decades of fake baseball! |

FOOL-H has an opening with the Brooklyn Royal Giants, they began as the Brooklyn Robins in 1901 and have recently adding 17-year old Rogers Hornsby to their roster. Here's your chance to own a historical baseball team, without all of the waiting of normal historical play. A new season, each week..only with names you'll know!
PM me if you're interested. It's a good way to test out fast-sim in what's likely the most "low-key" of the three FOOL leagues. Once you get a whiff, you'll be addicted, trust me! |

Brooklyn isn't open -- that opening was filled literally the next day -- but we do have two openings with Cincinnati and Louisville. The Reds have won 3 NL pennants, winning their only title in 1904. Meanwhile, the Louisville Black Caps have two AL pennants and etched their name into history in 1911 over their arch rivals to the north in a barnburning Fall Classic.
We are entering our 19th season (1919) of fake historical play and it's been a blast with a really consistent group of owners, a steady schedule and yet, the most low-key fast-sim experience your money doesn't have to buy. Drop me a PM if your'e interested or email me at arenabaseball@gmail.com |

St. Louis Cardinals are available in FOOL-Historical, if you're interested. An OOTP-X league.
