Markus,

Is any work being done to improve this feature so that it's useful for inaugural drafts and not just a rookie draft? The AI seems unable to detect that a player with a high draft value only has a season or two left in his career when selecting players in an inaugural draft. So the AI will make picks that have only short-term value and not the long-term value intended by the feature.

Then again, this feature is listed under the rookie draft, so I guess it was intended only for that circumstance.

Last weekend I finished up the latest Spritze 11.0 db that will also have these new fields. Contains the 2009 stats as well. Look for it on PadresFan's site next week.

As Gambo has discontinued his Db he has asked that a Gamboized version of the Spritze db be released as well. That is also done and includes the new fields.

You see that's where this all goes awry because the custom database I am using (neither Gambo's nor yours) has all 64 categories that the .odb database has with numbers or blank spots for all of them, including draft value, pitch repertoire, and career fielding, so why pray tell am I still unable to use the "use pre-defined draft value for AI" feature with this modded database? The only difference I'm noticing is quotation marks around a lot of the numbers and names in your master.csv file (except interestingly enough the draft value numbers) and none in my modded master.csv file. If you'd like I can send mine to you so you can check it out if you PM me clear instructions on how to (file is 3.71 MB; max attachment txt file size is 100 kb). Thanks for your time/efforts Spritze.
