16 players we are getting close. Who doesn't like early modern era baseball. Well I guess early modern would be the 80's but hey this is good too. Hell I am even the type that says let the AI take care of a couple of team. BTW will we do a inaugural draft, or team is what team was?

I would vote for leaving teams as they were, but that's just me.

I would say leave teams as is.

Give it some base of historical reference.

I'd be interested in building the Marlins up. Would you be starting the league with them already having a roster or would you start at the end of 1992 and conduct the expansion draft?

Also, is 1993 still a two division set up or are you just planning on going with the current three division set up that was debuted in 1994?

Still interested in the Expos. I would also consider the lowly Tigers.

we will see if syxx says anything in the next couple of days.

Also lets chat about schedule of sims ect. I would actually like to see a league that is maybe a little different then those out there as far as the sims go. I would like to do a mon-fri 3 games a sim type deal. Basically every sim would be each stand. We would have a little more control through out the season with this should injuries and the like effect a team. I would like to also see scouts on, (would love to do coaches too but the system is just to screwed up for that I think) what about the rest of you.

Like I said. I was going to do either a 1993 sim or a 2008. I got a mixed reaction. I started to modify the 1993 but found alot of problems such as minor league teams are fictional and stuff like that. And since it was a mixed reaction; so I decided to go with a 2008 league with feeder leagues. I am currently working on modifyin the file. I currently just created an rookie league (had to use some Short A Teams as the league file doesnt have a short a season league). I need to do their location, colors, and ballpark. Ballpark name, depth and wall height will all be fictional. Only MLB Players will have photos as all MLB teams has complete uniforms besides some players in MLB have real pictures. Once I finish the information on the rookie league. I will be working on NCAA League (roughly 70 teams) and High School League (roughly 32 teams). Also I have someone making custom schedules for the minor league as the game does not allow minor league to play interleague play. As it will be done in this league thanks to the great gentlemen on this forum helping me out. He said he is look around a month to make the custom schedules as I am lookin for my deadline to be that time. Thanks to him.

Also Razoredge, I have used your team logos and just wanted to say Thank you! Also Thank you too CBL Cardinals for the league file that I am modifying some. Cant leave the people out that help me get to where I am. Got a question....im me at Fightin83Irish. Almost always on when on the computer.

PS - if you do the 1993 league. Ill take he Giants. What rating scale are you going to use? I honestly dont like scouting. As I just joined my first league with scouting last week.

I can set up the league file for a 1993 league, if someone can run it.

I have some time available but not enough to run a league.

Let me know.

Okay while I do want to see this league happen I have never run a league and do not have good website skills. So I ask is there anyone of the folks on here that want to see a 93 league that has some web skills. I am still willing to run it but would need someone to do the site ect. I think I can get the FTP server from a friend, but I am still waiting on his reply.

What did you use for a starting point? Cubbyfan's rosters, the OOTP default MLB rosters, or just an import off the Lahman database?

In any case, whether it is a 2008 or 1993 league (or both), I would still like to run the Braves.

Why is it that everyone likes currant leagues so much? There used to be lots of historical leagues, and historical league interest. Now it seems all that is starting(all the time, I might add) are currant leagues. I like currant baseball, but resimming history is so much more fun to me. The age group that is predominate I guess is younger and currant leagues hold a greater appeal to them. Sometimes I miss the old bygone days. Oh well, such is life.

I will take the Rays if we start in 2008, since my White Sox can;t seem to beat them in real life.

well I guess that we are just going to have to go with syxx's league, cause I honestly don't think I have the skill necessary to run a league even though I, like a previous poster, would prefer a earlier start date.

I'm willing to try, '93 or '08 doesn't matter. I'm new to online OOTP although I have played in single-player mode for several years.
