I preordered it.....

I find it absolutely funny... that people complain about 25 dollars.... its less than the cost of a tank of gas.

So then they go get there playstation 3 (500 dollars) and get one of those baseball games (60 dollars).

OOTP (25 dollars) priceless!

I just wanted to be clear that I wasn't complaining about 24 or 39 bucks. Personaly I'll pay whatever it costs. I would rather preorder it just because who doesn't like saving a little money.

I won't preorder until the 1st just because I told the wife I wouldn't. I got a little carried away with my "phew...taxes are over for another year" celebration in spending money. I still can't believe for the first time in my life I owed this year.

If the game comes out by or before the first then I'll gladly play full price. It doesn't matter to me. Just wanted Markus and crew to know I wasn't balking at the price.

That's a big item on my wishlist, too. I have yet to see a baseball game that has modeled pitcher usage well. There is enough data around at this point - and there are enough experts around here to make suggestions - that something better could be done. But I know it would be a huge undertaking, too, and I didn't actually expect it for this version. It would have been a nice surprise.

Of course I pre-ordered; I have never found anything so value-laden in terms of entertainment as I have with this franchise. If baseball simming equates to porn or drug addiction then OOTP is virulently hard core. Plus, the sidereal benefits of the related community interaction--for good or ill--is literally priceless. So....

I played 2007 to death! I did not play 08.

This game will be pure crack! The fact that the real players are included is a good bonus.

I will get more value out of this game at $24.99 than any other game.

I cannot wait!

I just bit the bullet and pre-ordered. I'd probably end up buying the game eventually even if I didn't pre-order.

I guess the one major problem this year is there isn't really any feature that just makes me think, "Darn. I really can't wait for that. It's going to be awesome." There's lots of small stuff that should be worthwhile though. And honestly, I dropped $60 on Madden this year which turned out to be an epic failure, so I'm doubting that I'm going to regret paying $25 for OOTP. Hopefully it'll be a great game
