Right.

Except they're even across all the other statistical lines besides tackles. So they're both deserving and tackles may not mean much, but they mean a little extra when one person has a clear advantage over another (in this case, Ryans > Hawk).

Again, different positions. Middle Linebackers typically get more tackles than outside linebackers and I won't even get into how porous the Texans D was and that Ryans was probably making most of his tackles 6-7 yards upfield (actually I'm sure he was because the Texans gave up 5.6 yards per play this year, good enough for 31st in the league) or the fact that when picking which player is better than the next that statistics shouldn't be the sole measure.

Aaron Kampman had better stats than Julius Peppers this year, would you take Kampman?

AJ Hawk just intercepted Griese so he now has TWICE AS MANY interceptions as Ryans which should officially settle this debate.

I like Hawk alot...not going to get into debate....BUT he is a heck of a plyer (or will be).

My interceptions post was TIC. Guess I should state that now since every post gets taken so seriously around here lately.

Biggest Choke Job: Cincinnati Bengals. I love them, and I freaking hate them.

Coach of The Year: Sean Payton
Offensive Player of the Year: Tomlinson
Defensive Player of the Year: Jason Taylor
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Marcus McNeill, but will probably be Drew
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Demeco Ryans
Comeback Player of the Year: Chad Pennington

For DPOY I've only heard Taylor, Urlacher, and Bailey as viable candidates. Why are there so many votes for Kampman? Are those just homer votes?

So that's how you suggest they do it, yet you couldnt even come up with two of the four answers, which weren't what was asked by the way?

Kampman has had a monster year, the talking heads just don't go crazy about him every week like they do Urlacher and Bailey.

Since everyone here loves stats so much Kampman should definitely win it over Jason Taylor since he has pretty much owned him in the statistics department.
