This set is really more for the guys that don't want 100 minor leaguers per team and want ratings rated partly on the last few seasons with emphasis on this year. You guys can change it however you like though. Rolen's set I feel will cover the whole gamet of pros, minors, etc so i felt no need too.
I just did the Taylor trade and released Offerman. I am going to sim a few seasons today and see if i get the .390 averages. I thought .350-.360 was the area i had before but i might be wrong. I'll check the espn transcations and then repost the file around 6:00 pm est. PS i am adding the round 1 compensation picks today. Don |

This file is based off my last year file which some of you probably used. Which actually came out before Rolens first roster but if you feel the opposite is true so be it. I am not providing the file to compete with Rolen (who is in maelstrom with me actually) but as an alternative since i like a smaller file. Add ons like the correct leaderboard, records and such are not my work however and baseballsimcentral or bigcitybaseball though were found at. Don

I try not to be an ass but how would i know which rosters you downloaded? The mid season one doesn't have Cabrera and Bako on Atlanta however. And throwing a fit over Spooneybarger who has 39 innings in his career (as of Aug 10) pitched is stupid to me. I will point out again, if you don't like the set then don't use it. Wait for Rolens set which you can then probably dislike too (since so in so's ratings are not what you like). As for the guy who thinks Ward is too good- i agree and am changing the power for sure and average some.
Actually, i changed a ton of stuff to the beginning rosters set and am going to release tonight. The round 1 ammy players are on also. I know the draft was mid year but i thought it made more sense that way. An update to the mid season set is also going to be up tonight as well. Don |

New and improved Beginning and Mid Season rosters
Guys-
the beginning have the 2002 first round ammies on it plus a bunch of guys not on it before and more tweaked ratings www.sportplanet.com/sbb/mmbl/Begin2002.zip The mid season has all the changed i could find and so new players on it. www.sportplanet.com/sbb/mmbl/Mid2002.zip again feel free to change who or whatever you like. I lowered the averages a tad. .360 was the area i was seeing for the champ. Don |

Haven't downloaded them yet, but I'm thinking I'll like the beginning season with the draftees in there.
Now if we could get Steve Stanley in there

If you pass me the info on Steve i'll put it in the next update. That really goes for any major boo boo i made in missing people or trades. Don

I noticed a problem with Rickey Henderson for 2 seasons (1997 & 2000) he is taking up 4 stat lines to show those 2 years and the extra 2 seasons pushes him to his 25 season max on his player card so that he gets no credit for doing anything in the year 2002.

KoD, what all info would you need for Stanley? I would attempt to make him myself, but I blow big time at making players. He's a draftee, so I have no clue what stats you'd need.
I noticed a few other errors last night, but they were in the first roster version you posted up in this thread. I know Jason Simontacchi's name was spelled wrong, but I can't remember the other one. It was another mispelling, nothing the person who downloads the rosters can't fix. |

I check the Simontacchi spelling. As for Stanley, info like what pitches he throws or if he throws hard, control, stuff like that. Don

Great job on the roster set, Don. One player that needs to be added to your next update is Kirk Saarloos of the Astros.
Btw, I have a face pack nearly complete containing virtually all the players in your last release. I will try to have it finished by the end of the weekend. If there are any players you have added or are planning for a future release let me know and I will get photos of them included in my facepack.

Steve-
I think the new updates have Kirk Saaloos on them- in the bullpen i believe. I'll double on that tonight (the mid i think did for sure, i hope the beginning did). I think we all appreciate the facepacks. Don |

I meant to write that I appreciate the work on the face packs greatly and i assume probably everyone that uses this game does. I had to rush the last message (I hate when they actually expect work out of you at work
. Don

Hey KOD, I had some big problems with this new MID Roster set , after I don't know how many games the stats simply reset, so we have Sosa 120 RBI and Second is BErkman with 10!?!!. This happen 9 times out of ten. I used your previous roster sets and I have no problems with them. Because I really like your sets and I want to play with last one , Can you test it and try to fix the problem. (I never had this problem with any roster set).

I too had this same problem. It seems as though the stats reset themselves at about the last month or so of the season. I simmed one of my fictional leagues and had no problem, therefore isolating the new roster set. FYI, I downloaded the updated mid-season set.
