another control against over-platooning
Suggestion: Under "player strategy" for individual players, offer a "do not platoon" option.
Reason: there is too much platooning in the game presently. If fixing it globally is not practical, this would be one way of keeping a star from being platooned, as now happens. Priority: medium. A global adjustment would be high. |

Suggestion: Offer the Batter vs. Individual Pitcher stats as a split choice on the in-game sortable roster. The Pitcher being the opposing teams current pitcher.
Reason: I would like to see my whole roster's stats versus the current pitcher in order to facilitate decision making. Currently each player must be looked at individually which is very time consuming. Priority: Medium to High |

Suggestion: One cannot remove a player with a major league contract from the 40-man (secondary) roster without releasing him.
Reason: This contradicts the rules and is most annoying. Priority: High Last edited by Raidergoo; 08-31-2006 at 10:58 AM. |

Suggestion: The financials need clarity and better explanation in the rules.
Reason: I have yet to decipher the financial structure of OOTPB. Trading for cash, for instance, does not improve one's budget, nor does the owner acknowledge its presence when asking for player extensions. Cash is a fungible instrument and does carry over from year to year, but not in the owner's mind in OOTB. One can have several millions of dollars available for player signings, but nothing for inexpensive extensions. Priority: High |

Suggestion: AI must have better 40 man roster logic
Reason: AI roster management is at times bizarre. It will agree to a major trade, and then expose key acquired players to waivers and lose them to other teams. Priority: High |

Middle Earth has rolled by like an army of Mumakil. It has been erased like a slate, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Frodo. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... beings will come Frodo. Beings will most definitely come." - Gladden Field of Dreams |
