Feature: Contract offers for scouts and other personnel should be done the same way as for FA players

Reason: It is extremely tedious to have the commish need to go find out what the guy wants, whether he is interested in working for that team, and report back to the team, then wait for the team GM to report back to him. Given the large number of personnel involved, this is a back breaker for using scouts and coaches in an online league.

Further, it prevents actual bidding. If there is a lack of high quality scouts, the market should decide their worth. As it is, a very arbitrary system is required for the commish to handle this.

Priority: High

I believe that the reason why teams can't bid upon coaches and scouts stems from the big problem with the system in previous versions: namely that a human GM could easily afford to wildly overspend upon coaches and scouts and beat out the computer-run teams for all of the best talent.

That's why I put this in the online league thread. It would be a big benefit here, but not necessarily in solo play.

Suggestion: Human-to-human trading
Reason: When a human deals with an AI-controlled team for trades, they get to make offers and get feedback. When they deal with another human team, they get nothing. Make it so two human teams could negotiate and execute a trade in-game (maybe with a Commish approval option).
Priority: Medium

But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Frodo. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... beings will come Frodo. Beings will most definitely come." - Gladden Field of Dreams

Please Delete. As this post pertained to more than one side of the game. (I'll read the rules more carefully next time)

Suggestion: Ability for owners to submit their own news stories, and have the commish review them and post them inside the games html reports.
Reason: Although this is a minor feature, I think it would be a nice addition to the html reports for the league, as well as the history of the league, because you have a news archive.

Suggestion: Owner control over team messages. If a message gets deleted from the owners account, that information should be transferred with the export.
Reason: Prevents what is now an arduos task of sorting through hundreds of email messages every sim.

Suggestion: Enhanced online league trade block. Allow owners to view and respond to teams trade blocks (assuming that feature gets added). The response could be anywhere from general interest to a specific offer.
Reason: This would add a more realistic feeling in the game. If an owner could check their messages and see if human manager has interest, they can then check out the offer right there in game. Eliminating the need to visit a message board, and post your thoughts. Also, if an in game human trade feature is added, this could aid with that.

Suggestion: A new are of the game that acts as an online league "control panel". From this area you can set the number of games to sim, what reports to generate when the sim is complete, and which files to include in the league file. After setting all your options, you save the settings. Then, click on a button that says "sim session (or something along those lines)". The game then sims using your settings, create's reports, and creates the file. As well as uploading the reports and files if you want it to. The settings, of course, would have to have the capability to be adjusted before each sim, if the commish is so inclined.
Reason: To cut down on the need to go to multiple screens to complete a sim. Everyhing is done from one spot, thus, allowing an online GM ease of use and a streamlined experience.

Suggestion: Option to release all players whose DFA time is expired
Reason: Nothing is more annoying in online leagues than owners who leave people in DFA so the commish cant run the sim before going through and releasing them one by one.

Suggestion: Option to change when the amature draft pool is revealed.
Reason: To allow owners more time to scout the draft pool due to the usually fast speed of online sims.

Suggestion: Have HBP ratings (per 550 PA/BFP) visible on Player Ratings pages for both batters and pitchers within the game. Right now, this information is only available to league commissioners through the edit function.
Reason: Feature was on the previous versions. Important in talent evaluation.
Priority: High (for me)
