I just signed Catcher John McFarland for $350,000 for 1 year. He wanted $20,000,000 per year for 5 years but just couldn't resist the great deal I put on the table. (Tongue planted firmly in cheek.)
Really guys, I know this problem has been posted many times and I understood it was addressed in the patch but, this almost ruins the game for most of us.
I hope something can be done.

For now,im just going to have to play with financials off,as this is a bug that pretty much makes the game unplayable with financials on unfortunatly.

Scoman, can you replicate this again? And please describe exactly how you're setting this league up. Are there minor leagues? How many? Are there other leagues?

Its a historical league starting in 1871,8 teams 2 four team divisions,no minors,no other leagues.

There are many threads like this one but it sounds like they all(?) pertain to historical leagues.

I've been trying to low ball highly rated free agents in my fictional leagues but they refuse to sign-unless I'm just unlucky.

Ive always played historical so far,so maybe this isnt a issue in fictional leagues

Yeah but it's not even worth playing with financials off IMO. Until this is addressed I'm gonna leave the game off.
