Those are great. I've kinda been looking for a Hollywood Stars logo that I liked and I just found two....sweet. Knuckler, you're on roll right now, it's awesome.

Longivity is the key here. We have have many, many fine designers, but they have come on the scene, hung around a while and then disappeared.

knuckler has stayed.

I would put illeracula, pepeda, dbacks, FastLane, Cooleyvol, Faroo6 and several others up with knuckler except they are not here much anymore.

A big thanks to them, too.
Well put Eugene. This sub-forum would be on life support if it wasn't for the dedication of both yourself and knuckler.

Good Job Knuckler...

Knuckler great work with these. Love that Stars logo, can't wait to see your other creations. Do you use PSP or CS? Keep it up.

I hear ya, EC. I would love to be helping out more, and do plan on getting back in, but time has been of an essence lately. It was nice when I had the software at work. I could get into it, but I am sure noone here really cares. . Lets just put it htis way, hopefully things will change soon and I will be just as active as I was in the past. PS: Thanks for the kind words.

Happy Belated Birthday, as well!!

knuckler,

I got this info about the New Orleans Pelicans colors from a Pelican Historian, S. Derby Gisclair, author of "Baseball in New Orleansl".

During the period when they were a St. Louis Cardinal's farm team (1940 -
1942), their uniforms mirrored the Cardinals -- white/red (home) and
grey/red (road).

When they were a Brooklyn Dodgers farm club (1943 - 1944), their uniforms
were white/royal blue (home) and grey/royal blue (road).

When they became a Boston Red Sox farm team (1946 - 1947), their uniforms
were white/navy blue (home) and grey/navy blue (road).

When they became a Pittsburgh Pirates farm team (1948 - 1956) their uniforms
were white/black & gold (home) and grey/black (road).

When they were a New York Yankees farm team (1957 - 1958), their uniforms
were white/navy pinstripes (home) and grey/navy (road).

A Davy Crockett type raccoon skin cap.

That's what the Tennessee Volunteers wore at the battle of the Alamo.

Fine Memphis and Nashville.

Reworked the stars a bit to have more of a baseball feel in case it benefits anyone. The first of these has multiple stars, and the second one has just the two.

Thanks for including me. It is nice of you to say that.

But the forum could do quite well without me.

It is the fine designers that make it what it is.

Without the knucklers and the rocknfire7s and the reds1s and the pepeda and the lleraculas and the Faroo6s....it wouldn't make it.

The forum isn't the same without you EC. There's really no way to explain how valuable you are and how much your presence means to it.

And on that note, thanks for all the info on the Pelicans, etc. Very helpful.
