I, like most Americans, know/knew little to nothing about Canadian junior hockey until the first EHM on SI came out....the Moose Jaw Warriors were the first team I heard of, so that's kind of my team, I guess.

Saw Jarad Bourassa playing for the Idaho Steelheads against my local ECHL team this year. A wierd experience to first hear about someone through EHM, then see them IRL.

The Warriors were my team when I was growing up. I don't really follow them all that close any more but am glad to see them doing so great in the playoffs!

Some of the guys who played there years ago when I followed them a lot closer were Theoren Fleury, Mike Keane, Kelly Buchberger, Lyle Odelein, Blair Atcheynum, Kevin Smyth (Ryan's older brother, Ryan Smyth played there too).
