Sorry... confusing....

I tested the old set, since CubbyFan mentionned that only slight adjustments will be needed on major players and some tweaking needed to be done with a couple of rookies.

Ran the leagues dozens of times and everything seems good.

Nothing major to reports besides what has been mentionned before

Bay, Quentin, too much K's.

Still waiting for the update to lauch our league.

im just looking forward to it.. I actually havn't touched OOTP for a few months.. I was trying to wait for the new one but with opening day right around the corner I can't hold off any longer

I DO promise that a release will be tonight (as late as that may be)...

I have ended up tweaking a lot of ratings. Bay and Furcal were both adjusted, along with a lot of other guys.

I also believe Coco Crisp needs a little love as well as Rich Hill on the Cubs. Also was wondering if Hee Seop Choi and Wily Mo Pena will be on the Boston Red Sox being that both were acquired by them.

Yep, all moves current to the release of the roster set.

This of course includes the monumental move, you forgot to mention, of Felix Heredia to the Cleveland Indians.

On a side note, I've included current injuries (as well as a 3 month "injury" to Roger Clemens as he decides if he wants to return or not). You can reset these simply by clicking reset injuries in the setup button on the league information if you don't like playing with them.

Heredia I had to mention because it was a huge move but saw by most, I figured by now pretty much everyone should have recieved calls from their friends asking them "HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE WELLEMEYER DEAL THAT NETTED THE CUBS TWO OF THE BIGGEST PROSPECTS IN BASEBALL HISTORY!?" so I didn't even feel the need to mention it.

EDIT: As an update, the delay is just me being anal, and going through to double check ratings in the starting lineups. I want the best possible set out there when this releases, and I noticed that some guys still had their potentials kind of skewed (as veterans) so I'm fixing those mistakes now. It will still be released tonight, this isn't as tough of a task as it sounds, as I'm just going through and nodding my head, or slightly adjusting numbers on the roster screen.

EDIT2: One of the "mis management" annoyances of OOTP that you will have to keep an eye on, is the catching situations in Baltimore and Florida. In Baltimore, Javy Lopez is going to DH, but the computer keeps no backups to Ramon Hernandez because there is technically one other catcher on the major league roster (this drives me mad). In Florida, Olivo is behind the plate with Willingham in LF (as is going to happen this season, with Willingham playing a few games a week at catcher) but the game doesn't let me reflect it this way, and so there is no backup to Olivo. You might want to mess around with this on your own, or at the very least, take away Lopez and Willingham's catcher eligibility for the current season so the team carries a backup, and next season if they fall into a different situation where they will catch full time, switch it back.

To those of you who are hanging in, I apologize. I keep noticing things to fix and fixing them.

I pretty much have lineups set, but just realized that I never had changed the attendence figures. They are being adjusted to fit the '05 numbers (which adjusts the team cash available to more fit the current budgets)... I am setting cash for all teams at 5M to create an even playing field to start with.

I THINK that's all I have to do, other than add a few coaches in. I can't promise on a time, but I WILL get them out (sometime) tonight.
