Thanks everyone, and I have no problem with a waiting list as long as it's not more othan half the size of the league (for example 11 people on the waiting list for a 20 person league).

However I've been to alot of the sites the problem is the college ones I went to (possibly the one posted) don't usually have MLB type rules, as for the mcovey one it's real hard for me to read, I have to highlight the writting to see it or change my size options.

Also I've checked alot of sigs hopefully one I signed up for will open up soon, thanks again.

oh yeah and crackpot while I like it I don't think I could get away with going to a site that has a hot chick on it every day because it would only be a matter of time until my girlfriend finds out.

I've had a paranoid suspecion that people check my internet history when I'm not around, even though I know they probably don't.

The TTBL has at least two openings right now. We are a winter league, which means we play our full 80 game season during MLBs offseason. We will have our opening day on Wednesday. You can check us out if you want. There is a link in my signature.

Cheers, Maddux

well, in order to judge how good the college owners can be, we do allow trading. It's the same as the majors, except there are no minors involved, and no finances. As for the girl... well, "I'm looking at baseball! Honest!"

hey, I actually picked a conservative avatar... It's not just a girl in a bikini like many. If you want to see a less conservative laura, there's always the link in my signature.

Don't feel to bad about missing out on all these new leagues. 90% of the leagues that started up in the past three months will be dead come the end of winter. Not a knock against any of the new leagues, just a fact of life (school and other real life things happen).

Short of starting your own league, the best way to get into a strong league is to become a "groupie" or "reporter" for a league that has been around for at least one real life year...still no guarantees, but you'll have a better chance of success.

Good luck.

I'll have to agree with Subby here. Most leagues don't make it past the first couple of seasons.

Look around and find a couple leagues with some history and get on the waiting list and register on their forums. Get involved!!

Show them that you care about the league and you will get a team eventually.
