If you've never seen this skit, it is worth your time to try and find it somewhere. The words don't even do it justice. It's just flat-out hilarious. (IMHO) A true comedy classic.

I can just imagine John Cleese, et al doing that. Hilarious! I'll try to track it down.

I'm a youth pastor, and I want to use this for a message sometime. It's classic.

As an aside, I believe I read that the license with Take Two is only exclusive to the graphical console-style games. Sims (like this) aren't excluded from also getting licensed.

"The agreement, which begins at the start of the 2006 playing season, grants the video game maker the right to develop and market 'manager-style baseball video games' for 'current and next-generation' gaming consoles, PCs and hand-helds."

The cost for the MLB license, which the consumers would pay for, isn't worth it in my opinion. There's lots of rosters out there to download easily.

Video Games are different then PC'S Games so this game can have the MLB License because theirs no other Baseball PC game out their that is still made that has it!
How about a Minor league License then! The game would need the MLB and MLBPAA License so Barry Bonds can be in the game!

You are so wrong on so many levels on so many points ...

Bonds = download. Deal with it.

Or make your custom league the Barry Bonds league and name every player Barry Bonds. Then, you'd have no issues about having that no-longer-taking-steroids overweight washup in your game.

Unless you've had your head in the sand, which would explain your posts, you would know that Barry Bonds in not part of the MLBPA. Therefore, even if there was a license, Bonds wouldn't be in it. He hasn't been in a baseball game for years.
