do you have OOTP 6.5 or 6 closed? Cause many times you edit with Pierre's and it has Runtime error. The statistics appear on the player HTML page. I still haven't figured out how to input it to the OOTP page. Can anybody help?

EDIT: Yeah I'm making sure OOTP is closed. This is really baffling.

I'm using V 6.0.0.7... is there a newer version or something out there? I'm so lost, never had this problem before.

well pierre works for 6.5... haven't tried 6.0 yet.

Apparently if I "close league" and then exit (makes sense right?) it doesn't save the league. If I just exit, it saves it.

At least I know what's wrong, going to go see a movie and then getting started tonight! Cheers!

Well, I don't know anything about the problems you are having, but the newest OOTP is 6.51a

Stat input on eight teams is done, I plan on trying to finish that up by Monday night, and then getting cracking on ratings / depth charts / moves...

Look for a first release without the service time fixed, but that will be fixed in the second version, just so I can get one out there for people to double check numbers on.

Good news!

Almost all of the 2005 stats are complete, they will be totally done by tonight (albiet late as I'm going to go root on Mizzou against Illinois tonight, ugh)... so now that the hard part is out of the way, and my eyes are bleeding from pouring over too many stats, ratings will get underway. I'm shooting for a release within the week (Christmas present for the OOTP community?

), and I'll let you guys know more as I get into it.

Haven't rated him yet -- from what I've read he'll be a good defensive catcher with pretty good skills hitting with some room for improvement (as I've noticed that Asian league players seem to have a growth period in their first year). Will let you know more when I do the M's tonight.

Mizzou lost by 32.

Yep, Johjima had 6 straight Gold Gloves in Japan and averaged batting about .300, 30 Homers, and 100 RBIs

Thanks alot! I check this forum out one or twice a week, but I haven't actually PLAYED any OOTP in months!

And the few times other people have even tentatively asked about new rosters they've risked summary execution. So I've kept my mouth shut, and have kept my disappointment to myself.

Hopefully, I can get back into the game, because I'm not sure I would use the next version enough toi buy it, if I've completely stopped using this one.

Good luck and hope to see it soon... (...as you feel like it's ready.)

I don't mind questions at all, Hermida will most likely be 4.5 or 5 stars.

Off the top of my head Petit is going to be a tough one to rate, as I'm not sure how his velocity translates to the majors. Its going to be tough to compensate for the lack of strikeouts, but I suppose I might with a high BB and HR rating. Not sure yet, but he will definately be between 4 and 4.5 stars.
