Nicely played, Andy.

I just think it's great that Nomar brought home two people in the post-season. That's more than A-Rod did, right?

It'll be interesting to find out how the women managed to fall.

Theory 1 - Blondes who had just watched Little Mermaid and thought.....

Theory 2 - Dusty Baker did it to see if Nomar was really injured....

If Derek Jeter was there he would've saved them before they fell in.

If George Steinbrenner were there, he would've thrown money into the bay until all the water was soaked up, then complained all winter he didn't get a trophy for it.

If the Yankees were there they would have just thrown tea into the Harbor.

Then possibly A-Rod for his performance in the post-season.

If spleen was there he would make sure to let everyone know that he could rescue them the best if he gets to pick the women that fall in the water.
Nice.

If andymac was there he would have set-up a tournament to find the person to rescue them.

Well, we all know that if A-Rod were there he would have been unable to get them in safely.

That's probably better than Joe Torre, though. He would've just sat there and let the women figure it out.

I hope Kuff has a good sense of humor.

Kuff would have built a raft and gone in to save them "when it's fully tested and found to be ready.

Then would've gotten impatient when the women kept asking him why they couldn't listen to sound while in the raft.

And then while trying to revive them couldn't figure out why he couldn't use head to head.

Nah, he would've told 'em to contact the e-license people.

Women one, "Is that Nomar Garciaparra?"

Woman two, "Uh, I think so."

Husband one rolls eyes.

Woman two, "Hey, bet I can get his attention."

Husband two rolls eyes...

Could be a valid theory. Who else but a husband to stand by and let someone else rescue his wife.

Husbands, "I'm gonna go in the bar and watch the guys still playing baseball."

I just thought it was funny that the husbands immediately showed up and whisked them away...like they were very near.

If Roger Clemens were there, the women would've drown, but everyone would just talk about how he didn't get any support.

The Pirates would have raided their booty and made them walk the plank. Then ownership would have pocketed the money not wanting to risk actually putting a competitive team on the field.

The A's would have shoved them underwater and then pulled them all the way up to the pier, only to drop them back in.

Bonds would have homered into the Harbor knocking one out and then called the other lady a Boston racist.

Schilling would have cast "Water Walk" with his level 20 Elf and walked out to save them.

Pete Rose would have bet on which one went under first.

Bud Selig would order a swimming contest and declare a tie. Following and investigation he would determine both women used steroids and be banned.

Mark McGwire would have just picked the whole pier up and told the ladies to grab on.

Rickey Henderson would have saved them before they hit the water and then spend the next 5 hours telling them how lucky they were that Rickey was were Rickey was and that Rickey was so fast Rickey they didn't get wet.

If Palmeiro were there, they would have drowned but he would have blamed it on Tejada.

Nice.

I especially like the Schilling one.
