Yeah, and BobButtons is the guy who should be creating definitions of an idiot.

You know, it's been awhile since we had a team look this good, I am excited about it is all. Nice to see all these stereotypes of Sox fans come to the forefront though.
Yes it is over-reacting. On your part IMO.

As for the sterotypes of WSox fans, I have no idea what they are. I can only base on what I saw in your threads.

Why is that? Simply because you can't admit that you may have had, when the Indians were just a mere 1 1/2 games out, the slightest possible doubt that your team can hold on? I don't think that anyone on this board believes you when you say that you had absolutely no doubt. No fan of a team that hasn't won a WS in that length of time can drink all of the Kool Aid, unless of course you happen to be a bandwagon fan, which is worse than being an idiot.

Just to be clear, this is Bobbuttons. Thanks to the bloody board problems I can't post under my account, so I have to break out the alias.

We just aren't spirited enough to start a free-for-all with the entire opposing team. No, for that you need a crowd of Indians fans and an endless supply of 10-cent beer!

By the way, can you give us any pointers for Wednesday on how we might insult David Wells' dead relatives?

Don't forget to mail in those playoff tickets and get your refunds.

Cheers!

You hear more insults about your relatives both alive and dead in Chicago and New York, bar none.

The Prospectus Hit List ranks Cleveland as the best team in MLB, again.

The bandwagon crashes. Despite the top slot here, the season ends in tears for the Indians thanks to losing six out of their last seven games to the Royals, the Devil Rays and a Triple-A caliber edition of the White Sox.

little confused here - didn't burhle, garland and mccarthy start against us the last series? our hitting was the reason we lost, not YOUR hitting.

93 wins with a tiny payroll and low expectations was awesome. 93 wins would have made the AL playoffs every single year since the advent of three division leagues - just a bad time to have a bad week. besides, we'll probably have konerko at first for us next year anyway

I'm not going to take part in the argument, but that made me laugh out loud.
