I had no problem with Abreu being there until I realized he wasn't even an All-Star. I hate when they do that.

Yes he is. He's the starting right fielder for the National League team. Leading off for them too.

Not only did Joe say that, but has repeated the idea 3 or 4 times since, and we're only half way through the first round.

How can hitting a ball 500+ feet not show a ton of power?

Pudge looks tiny. He looks like Ichiro with a large head.

It was a short 517 feet?

Now if it had been Pujols, that would have been a record 517 feet.

Not only that, but a clutch 517 feet.

They have to keep censoring him. A 5-second delay on the MLB Homerun Derby. That doesn't sound right .

I like this HR derby more because players are staying in through all 10 outs. I think the reason is because of the $21,000 9 out ball. It's good to see them staying in there even though they are in the next round.

What is this 9 out ball thing? I don't have cable.

I would have liked to have seen Justin Morneau hit for Canada, but Bay deserved it. I bet Morneau would have hit a 550 footer and swung and missed at 5 pitches.

Once the player gets nine outs, they get a gold ball and all homeruns with nine outs are worth $21,000. They are at $147,000 right now.

Whoa. I don't think I've heard David speak. I didn't know that he had such horrible English. I don't even think his daughter understands it. Very interesting.
