Nevermind. I checked out their site and found out the next games aren't until September 26th. That sucks.

Paul, you're my hero! Will you buy me a Kaiserslautern jersey?

If you're asking this following my previous post, then I guess "my buying" of something you can't afford, equates to only a photo of the jersey.

It wasn't in response to any of your previous posts. It was more of a random plea for you to buy me a jersey.

I'll ask Santa Tex to see if he can get you one, okay?

That could be a fun read...but you would actually have to control the team and call plays..

I definitely wouldn't be any good at that. And if it was the Raiders that I wrecked, you would hate me.

Anyone with Fox Sports in Espanol can catch an InterMilan classic doubleheader. On ATM is Barca v Milan 9/26/2000.

It would be inbteresting if you began to be infused with the Raider mystique. You might start lifting weights and wearing a mohawk. This could get very interesting.

Odd how UKHS didn't mention Wigan's Carling Cup loss last night at League One Crewe. Must have slipped his mind...

trust me...you can't wreck the Raiders...they're easily the worst team in the league thus far...as much as I hate Leinart, they probably should have drafted him at this point.

I hope you do this. It would be interesting to see how you would approach writing it.

The same way as I wrote EuroLeague I suspect - by looking at the box scores.

I don't know which previous year's are interesting to people though.

Toronto FC stadium to be called "BMO Field".

Quote:
Toronto FC's new 20,000-seat home will be known as BMO Field, as Major League Soccer's newest club on Wednesday announced a 10-year naming rights agreement with BMO Financial Group. The facility, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2007, will also serve as the home to the Canadian national teams.

"BMO Field is a great community asset and an excellent example of a private-public partnership that not only supports sports and the associated ancillary benefits such as health, wellness and fitness, but also drives Toronto's economic growth and development for the long-term," said Richard Peddie, president and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. "Having a dedicated soccer facility will be pivotal in further shaping and developing soccer in Canada. BMO Field will not only serve as the home of professional soccer in Canada, but also serves the community with local programming for children, youth and adult soccer leagues."

"It's great. Now the team has a home," added MLSE executive vice president and COO Tom Anselmi. "We have a name, Toronto FC, we have a face in (head coach) Mo Johnston, and now we have a name. It's kind of that last spike in the railroad. It's a big day."
