Mike Loan in the previous version of the pack was just a 300b fake file...

The Game if you don't want to download the complete file you can get the one I did using the link in my signature... you don't have to worry, I don't do old LansdowneSt's FG when they are fine (which is the case most of the time).

PS: I have nothing for Patrick O'Loughlin, I didn't find a pic or I was unable to work with it if I found one...

Perhaps mine is out of date. i downloaded the last update but have yet to install it. What i have done the last few updates is copy my FG file (dates back to OOTP 13) onto the Fg Pack update then put all of those into the fg folder. Perhaps i am missing something.

Got it... you don't have the ones I did because they are in the last update LansdowneSt did, I never sent my works to the person that was doing it before (unless we count when the original file was created many years ago and we all know that 99.9% of those old FGs are very bad to be honest).

This is why I put a link for just my stuff in my signature since you get all the new one using LansdowneSt link and mine (unless someone else send him works too but I don't think so). Downloading the complete pack every update is kind of annoying if you just want what is new I think.

Make sure to use the CUF link in my signature block and not the one on the first post in this thread. The one in my signature block is the one I can edit, maintain and update.

If you want to ensure a fg file you have can be restored, keep your carried forward ones to the side to grab a favorite (if preferred over a new one).

If LansdowneSt doesn't do him for you tomorrow I'll give him a try monday... I want to progress on my works for the pack and when I do something who doesn't follow my progression (1871-19xx season by season) I must create a new game to do the FG.

Harry Pearce is one of the few 1917 player I can't do but he could be a doable challenge for you if you feel like it when you'll be back... also as a bonus that would remove one of those fake FG we all hate from the pack

Harry J Pearce, employee of Hardwick & Magee, died Thursday at his home 253 Lindley Ave. He was 52. Considered one of the greatest soccer players ever developed in this country, Mr. Pearce played goalie with the Philadelphia Field Club and the Bethlehem Steel. He also played baseball with the Philadelphia Nationals in 1917 and '18.

I found an older picture of him on ancestry.com and used that to base the facegen on.

Good to be back home but a dozen players debuted in the bigs while I was away this week! and so the denominator on the checklist grows...

Thanks for Pearce! I never think to check Ancestry, but on the other hand all I can get there is very small picture since I don't have an account so it wouldn't be that helpful

Not seeing Luis Salazar. i had him at one point but don't seem to anymore. i have a fictional luis Salazar in my EBL league and the Fg shows up.

I am missing around 7 players. i am doing random debut 1976-2022.

Those files are likely misnamed in the pack. a few years ago, OOTP started to realign the codes for facegen files to link to the players so they were the Minor League IDs used by baseball-reference. Those codes use the given name of a player. Many of the files were renamed - but a great many were not. So, as a result, there are dead files and files attaching to similarly named players that are not them. This clean-up process will take time but, as a perfectionist, I have begun it during this my first year as steward of the pack.

It is likely that the file "timmon001ozz.fg" is Ozzie Timmons. Rename that file and whatever that file has as an image will link to him. I'm more interested in redoing all those old ones than taking the time to rename stuff that I probably would replace anyway. In my audit this would be a "Dead" file.

Luis Salazar is likely the file called "salaza001lui.fg". Rename it to his correct Minor League ID for it to tie to him. Afterall, I doubt the file in the pack is actually supposed to be this guy:

If you remember seeing these faces in past games, it is likely because you were playing or moved a game from an edition of the database before OOTP started aligning/correcting the Historical Minors ID field.

And it could be even more frustrating when the game use a minor league id of its own that is completely different than the one use at BBRef (like some I told you about in my readme files)... in those case you must use the BBref id (not the minor league one) because it could be corrected some day and you will be stuck with useless dead file all over again.

Could you do Marty Herrmann for me? All the attempt I did with the picture of him you found on ancestry.com last year ended as a black guy (which wasn't the case obviously)... I attach that picture but maybe you found something better for him since last time.

I can work something with the drawing at BBRef but I feel going from a real photo would be much better

First one in 1918 I can't do a FG for... Lou Bauer (bauer-003lou), not the best picture but his FG in the pack is a fake one so maybe you could give him a try LansdowneSt?
