Although I'm not quite sure how I'm going to be able to win as many Cups as the Red Wings and Rangers and Maple Leafs, for instance, among others, before my current manager retires, whenever that is. I'm thinking of retiring him by the time the Blues arrive in St. Louis, but not sure about that yet. A version of my paternal grandfather retired after this past season, although in reality, my paternal grandfather died before my Dad's fifth birthday, to be sure. I think Grandpa's Dad died sometime in 1944, but I'm currently doing the GM/Head Coach bit as a version of him, in any case, for this dynasty.
Dad isn't yet old enough in this scenario to play, for he's still quite young. The earliest I might be able to put him in the game, in some form, will be around 1958 or so, I think, if at all. And the earliest I could be put in, no doubt, would be sometime around 1988, if memory serves, more or less. Back then, though, I was still in school, of course. I didn't finish high school until I was nineteen, in reality, a year later than normal due to my own horrible scholastic performance my first year in seventh grade. That school year was an academic year in which I didn't do all the appropriate and needed schoolwork I should have done then, if any at all, in truth, unfortunately. In essence, it was a year one might say I ultimately blew off, for one reason or another, in at least one sense, if not more than one. Not happy about it, at least not now and/or for quite a while since that time, of course, but there's nothing I can do about it now, for sure, you know. I'm making no excuses for my poor scholastic habits of many years when I was still in school, but please do try to keep well in mind that there were likely quite a few difficult things that I and my family were dealing with when I was still growing up in my life, folks. And those certainly affected things for me in certain negative ways, unfortunately, it seems. Now I don't blame my brother who's gone now for anything bad that happened, of course, but for our family, living with two disabled children, one profoundly autistic, and the other with likely yet-unknown AS while I was still in school who was also quite stubborn and/or very lazy, for instance, I'm quite sure that raising several children for quite some time made things very hard to deal with for us for quite a while. My three surviving siblings all managed to establish lives of their own, fortunately, even so. But I am still with my mother in her old age, even though I'm 50 years old now, and even though Dad is now in a care center of sorts at 80 years of age. My Homegone brother got put into a home of some sort when he was in his early 30's, where he then spent roughly the last seven or so years of his life, before he departed this world to be with Jesus for eternity. I will probably put him into one or more of my games when appropriate, of course, but don't know if and when I'll ever be able to do so, either for OOTP or FHM, if I haven't already done so in at least one form or another, just yet. In the meantime, though, I'll just have to keep taking things one day at a time as they come, as best as I can, for as long as the Lord allows me to live in His world, you know, folks. I'm not sure just how much these games of mine might perhaps affect the ultimate full development of my various stories, whether they're currently-existing ones or not. But I still strongly suspect that they or at least versions of certain people and/or teams in this current FHM dynasty of mine might just make it into my main writing project LUtD at present, somehow, although I don't know how or when they might actually do so here just yet. I wonder how long Tony Esposito can continue to be a force in the net for us, and I wonder just how soon he might be supplanted by another goalie on my current franchise here in the relevant dynasty. His current backup is a young guy from China, but the way that Tony's been going lately in his career, it'll probably be at least a few more years before he can take over for him with the Eagles, if he's still with the team then. By the way, if anyone wants new items for the Montreal Wanderers, at least, you can find them in my recent FHM Mods request thread, along with hockey-related items for a version of Low's Kingston Limers. I don't know when someone might produce certain items for the St. Louis Eagles to be used if anyone wants to use them in any leagues, but the relevant request thread also mentions at least them as well here, for your information, folks. Just so you all know this here well enough, and as a matter of fact, I think Greenert11 did a wonderful job on the items he posted pictures of for both teams he's done work for here, to be sure. I'd definitely recommend checking them out, if and when you like, in any case. CD out.

The link to that thread is here, if you want to see that work, by the way, folks.
https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=350678 Wonderful work done for the Limers and Wanderers in it so far, and hoping that any work done for the Eagles by anyone will be at least that good as well, of course. CD out.

Harrisburg has generally been very difficult to deal with since they were created for us, I think, more or less. Duluth may also be or have been a challenge for us to deal with at least a little bit since they were themselves then created in the relevant FHM 7 dynasty, if I remember correctly enough here. I foresee much potential difficulty for the current St. Louis Eagles in the future related to those teams, as long as they and the Eagles all still exist, at least, in this NHL.
Toronto, the Wanderers, and Halifax are probably the best teams currently in the Canadian Division, I think, at least as of the past several years. if not even longer than that. Thunder Bay may be a serious perennial (?) contender soon, if they aren't already, with a still-young Gordie Howe, if I remember correctly at present. Unless I add more teams to the NHL, I think we'll stick with just the 14 teams we now have in it until new expansion teams come for the 1967-68 season. If I don't let teams fold before the current NHL season, at least, I wonder just how many teams the NHL will have by this time in the game's history, if I make it that far, of course. How many might I have by 2023, if so, folks? Anyone know, especially if I can bring other WHA teams into the NHL that never came over in actual reality? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.

Nice NHL dynasty, CD. I can see that the NY Rangers are already much more successful in your dynasty than in real life.
Will you be adding the Hartford Whalers when you get to 1979? |

It's a historical game in FHM 7, so the Whalers should come in once the WHA is active, it seems. For some yet-unknown reason, though, the Canadiens' arena keeps getting changed when it shouldn't to the one that Kingston is now using, unfortunately, once the game year changes over after July 1st comes. I am having to put the Canadiens back in the Montreal Forum practically every year now, as soon as I can, after that happens, it seems to me. I now have fourteen teams in the relevant dynasty, instead of just the Original Six teams in the NHL, at this time.
Also, the game that's currently in question here won't somehow let any teams actually trade any of their various players, at least, so far in the dynasty, when there were most likely of course many trades between multiple teams by now in actual reality, and I really don't know why it hasn't done so, in truth. If it had, then I think a lot of teams, including the Eagles and Canadiens for instance, might have done better than they did in various NHL seasons so far for the relevant game here. Montreal's currently gone the longest of all present teams in the NHL since they won the Stanley Cup. I believe their current drought is at something like 31 seasons and counting, if memory serves. This will be season 32 since they last won a Cup, if I'm right about that, so they're more than due for one now, for sure. Will write more later, as time allows and all, Lord willing, I'm sure. Please feel quite free to chime in, if you like, on my latest thread on the forums, jg2977 and EC and anyone else who might want to, within reason and all, of course. CD out.

It might be rather interesting for you to know that Dominik Hasek spent his whole NHL career in this dynasty as a player with the Rangers, although at the moment, I'm not quite sure if he was a member of all seven Cup-winning teams that the Rangers have had so far in this game's history. It is likely that he was a part of at least four, if not all, though, I think, just so you know.
The Schooners could very well still be in contention for another Cup for a little while longer yet here, if Lafleur can keep playing for them. But he's somewhere in his mid-30's now, I believe, so I'm not entirely sure about that. I am quite sure, however, that he will be a very strong candidate for election to the Hall once he's eligible, or not very long after that, in any case, given his current career statistics to date. While he won't have his actual RL number retired for him when he's done, for sure, he no doubt will have his number 16 retired for him by Halifax when that comes, if and when it does. Supposing that's his current number in the relevant game, of course. We have several retired numbers in our history, and certainly Tony's 33 should join them in due time, after he retires, seeing as he's the current goalie wins leader, after all, at least. He also holds the unfortunate goalie losses record at this time, to be sure, among other records. But his record is considerably over .500 now, it seems, due to our recent seasons' relevant records now, I believe, for his goalie career. I'm not sure who will ultimately replace him in the net for us when his career is over, but whoever it is, will most likely have rather big skates to fill, just like the main person Tony himself replaced quite a few seasons ago. Our franchise history boasts the two goalies with the most career wins as a goalie in league history to date, and I think the Rangers franchise has at least the goalie with the third-most career wins as a goalie in league history, that goalie being Hasek, at least as of the present time. If memory serves me correctly, the top three goalies with the most career wins are Tony, Charlie Gardiner, and Dominik Hasek at least as of the present time, though I could be wrong about that here, of course, folks. To be absolutely sure, though, I'd have to look at the relevant leaderboards, in any case. Thunder Bay could be an up-and-coming team, either now or in the near-future, and they still have a young Gordie Howe, if memory serves me correctly enough right now. I don't know if he'll be able to contend for high positions on the related leaderboards at any time in his career, either soon or later on in his career, if he hasn't already done so, though. I believe there may be a good chance that he'll win at least one Cup somehow in his career, if not more than one, just the same, whether he stays with the Giants his whole career or not. If any of you want to know if a certain player's been in the game yet, please let me know, either here or elsewhere, as appropriate and all, then. If they have been, I'll try to find out how they've each performed so far in their careers, at least as players, whether as currently-active players or not, just as soon as I can and all here, if and when I can and all, that is, of course. CD out.

Greenert11 has now done some good work on items for the NHL's St. Louis Eagles. While they may not be exactly as I requested, they're still very good work on his part, in my opinion. And I fully intend to use them, for sure, in any case, for at least one FHM dynasty, if not more.
I'm hoping someone can handle doing the needed items for the Halifax Schooners fairly well, soon, of course. But we'll have to see if and when someone does at least some work for them here, folks, for sure. I'll probably need five eras of Schooners-related items, as mentioned in the relevant post or posts in the applicable forums request thread, I think, especially those for their third era at this particular point in time here. Will write more later, as time allows and all, Lord willing and all, I'm quite sure. Thank you for your time and attention here, then, everyone. CD out.

With all due respect, this is my thread, to do with as I wish, within reason and all. And I'm not yet sure if I'll have to go back to a point in the relevant FHM 7 dynasty here sometime before my Kingston Limers/Montreal Canadiens currently-existing arena problem's own beginning, in truth. Besides, I don't think I actually want to do a dynasty report for it yet, until I get to at least 1952 in it, if not at least 1957 or 1967 for it.
In any case, I'm focusing more on an OOTP Developments-related game, even if it's FHM 7 in this case, instead of focusing more on real-life matters, of late, so what's the problem? I see no problem with talking about the NHL here at times, for instance, if and when I so choose. Or pretty much anything else, whether game-related or not, actually. But apparently, I'm not supposed to talk about certain things in this thread very often, if at all, just the same. While I may not like that being the case here, of course, I'm not in charge of the overall forums, so I have to try to stay out of trouble on the forums as best as I can here, for sure, you know. CD out.

Thank you for your input, though, in any case, jbird669. I do hope to eventually be able to get back to posting more baseball team-related graphics here fairly soon, but I just haven't been able to do so lately, unfortunately, for some yet-unknown reason or reasons here in my life, at least. I really don't know why, or at least I don't as of the present time, but I just haven't, to be sure. Among certain other things that I've been somehow unable to do at least as of late, either on the computer or not, as well. But that's still how life goes sometimes for people in our world, you know, like it or not. CD out.

I understand that, jbird669. However, especially since my Dad went to a care center of some sort some time ago near me, for instance, quite a lot of things have been in a great deal of flux, in certain ways and in certain cases, to be sure. Including certain matters related to OOTPB and/or FHM, for instance, at least as they relate to me sufficiently well, just so you know.
As for a potential dynasty report related to this particular dynasty of mine, I'm not quite sure just yet on exactly how I might want or need to do it later on here well enough. Especially seeing as I really don't have quite a lot of hockey game-related experience when compared to what I have so far for the baseball side of things in direct relation to at least OOTP, if not other baseball-related computer games as well, as of yet. At least part of that is due to a lot of current flux related to things in my life and the lives of at least a few people sufficiently close to me for it right now, if not all of it. IF and when I'm able to figure out how to do any hockey dynasty-related reports well enough to satisfy myself around here sufficiently well, if not also others around here as well, then I'll see if I can do just that sort of thing well enough here, of course. But until I can do that well enough, I think this is the best place to put certain OOTPD game-related matters, even if they may not have many graphics-related references for them at a certain time, just the same. Again, thank you for your recent input here, jbird669. I may not always agree with it, of course, but please don't be afraid to give it still within fair and just enough reason and all, in any case, and I'll try to keep it in mind as needed and as possible, for sure, in any case. In the meantime, please do pray that certain things might then get better real soon for me and mine, somehow, and that I'll be able to create at least a few more things for people to perhaps be able to use later on in their own personal scenarios for their respective OOTPD-related games, at least, okay? If and whenever I can and all, that is, of course. Thanks. CD out.

Sorry, CD.
I agree with jbird... you should post OOTP hockey dynasties and OOTP hockey graphics on the hockey website....and post OOTP baseball dynasties and OOTP baseball graphics on the OOTP baseball website. Dynasty reports should be on the dynasty forum and graphics items should be on the graphics forum. |

Folks,
It seems that Dad went to the hospital this morning with red and swelling legs, and he wasn't able to walk before they took him there. As far as I know, he seems to have Covid now, somehow, and at his now-advanced age, with him being 80 years old now, I'm sure we could use some prayers for his health and all, of course. He will need continued care, while he's in the hospital instead of his care center, obviously, but I still would like you all to pray for his health and all, just the same, please. I know it's entirely up to God as to when he will eventually leave this world, but I still really don't want us to lose him before his proper time to do so, you know, folks. Thanks for any and/or all prayers on his and my family's behalf from you all that you may pray for us all here, then, for sure. Where and when I can let you know more, easily enough and safely enough, I certainly will, I'm sure. But for now, I don't know much more than the above, if anything more than that, to be completely honest with you. CD out.

Thank you, EC, for all your prayers and all. They are greatly appreciated, as always, of course. I'll try to get back to doing more graphics soon for possible use by others here, if and when time and inspiration and all allow me to, Lord willing and all, in any case. I'd also appreciate your thoughts on another idea I have recently thought of, if possible, too, EC. You will find the relevant thread in the overall OOTP Mods section, above the subsections of that part of the OOTP 24 forums. Just so you know. CD out.

Folks,
I have recently made some Halifax Schooners-related items that you and I might perhaps be able to use for such-named baseball teams. While I'm sure others might be able to provide better-quality items for them, I'm still throwing these items out here, just the same. Of course, the related logo is not of my own creation, and it may possibly be one of Pwal's, in truth, but I'm still going to post it up here, in any case, just in case any of you might not already have it in your relevant graphics folders. I'll post at least the relevant logo I got from somewhere either here on the forums or elsewhere, and the caps I've made first, and then the associated uniforms, if I can't actually include them all in the same post here, just so you know. The font in question is Pirata One on the items that have text instead of a logo on them, I believe, but if anyone thinks they can do better, with this team, at least in a baseball-related sense here, then they're more than welcome to try here, of course. CD out.

Now here are the uniforms I've made for the Halifax Schooners so far, at least, folks. I think the third alternate uniform seen below uses the Trade Winds font here, but can't remember for sure at the moment. Would probably have to check that later, to remember well enough, I think.
