I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as the folks here and am just happy on the rare times I actually get all nine. But a random thing I noticed about today's all-stats one is that you could win the grid with nine guys that all fit any of the nine spaces.
(Top row is 40 WAR career, Hall of Fame, Gold Glove. Left row is 40+ HR season, All-Star, 2000 hits) There might be one or two more I didn't notice looking at BR, but Aaron, Griffey, Mays, Mantle, Bench, Schmidt, Dawson, Sandberg, and Walker all fit each of those. |

I got all 9 for the first time ever in the NFL one. But it was an easy one. It was 1000 yard rusher, 1000 receiving, and 10,000 yards career passing. With just 3 teams to choose from. Normally I'm lucky to get more than 4 out of 9.

I know, we're not doing this anymore. But I got my first ever zero rarity and used all ex-Braves doing it

Artfully done! I always wanted to use the Beeg Boy's visit to Wreegley when I was playing the game.
(And I can't say I knew which field Lance Richbourg played off the top of my head.) |

I was doing well on today's until I plugged in Brian Downing for RF for the Angels. Got a big blank on that one.

Yeah, particularly an image-search, I guess.
(One of my film reactors just watched Mr. Holland's Opus. I had to fight myself not to mention the name of the m/m parody.) |
