everyone knows about the Cleveland Spiders. Well, the team was so terrible because the owner also owned the St. Louis Perfectos (the future Cardinals) and moved Cy Young and all their good players there.


So in this alternate history, they also moved the name Spiders.



I thought the spider and/or a spider web would work well with the Arch, but I can't get these to come out right. I tried different Cardinal reds, and the 80s power blue, a home plate, an octogon, a parody. I can't figure out what to do with this, what should I do?

The Texas Rangers are the only team without a Pride Night. These things are corporate, self-congratulatory now, but still, it felt like a small problem that I could correct.

I was very pleased to see some of my logos being used in this amazing massive league posted on the ootp reddit. Makes me want to go back and redo some of the old ones, (the Gemelas, definitely) and it's just great to see them out in the world.


The poster was using the Kingston Crowns in Kingston, Jamaica, so here are a couple versions in the flag colors I think they were in Ontario in my league but I'll be moving them to Jamaica too.

Here's one I made for myself. It is heavily indebted to sfgiants58's versions of the Brewers, which I'd been using. The sort of M pattern, and the name come from googling "Milwaukee Gatherers" (wikipedia says the city's name means "gathering place" in Potawatomi) and finding that the Milwaukee Bucks had an alternate uniform with that theme. So I have an abstract one (wheat and or corn) and one with the old barrelman.

I drew this, it's based on an illustration from a board book, Penguin on a Scooter, that I read to my kid like ten times a day.


there's a wide white circle outline that you can't see on this message board. I thought this logo would be more fun for me (for you?) with this intentionally non-sports logo handwriting font. The B is from the Orioles' city connect.

It could really be your-city-name-here Swans. Here is the prototype black swan version (Pirates colors). And the one where I put a little bat on it that doesn't look good

I really like these 20. I think the first is my favourite and I particularly like the small logos where I think the swan works really well. I've got Baltimore lined up as an expansion team location, will be a while yet. But I suspect they'll be called the Swans, and will feature this logo!

I included one without the gradient, although the gradient is my preferred one. I'm using them a lot now... maybe less realistic (...lol), but I like how they look.

So good! Love the colour palette and dreamy feel to this one. I've got a 'Lisbon Caravels' pencilled in for an expansion further down the line, they're now going to be the Lisbon Galleons

Due to my rarely overlapping interests in strategy games and Joanna Newsom, I too lovethe name Caravels. I'll gladly Mae a Portuguese version.

Thank you for calling it dreamy the original line art is very clean and good, I just thought it deserved some romantic flourishes.

And I still hope to draw a heron, a lemur, a penguin etc

I presume this is a reference to Age of Empires II, which is one of my favourite games ever. I'm also rather liking AoE 4, I just never have time to play it now that I'm a dad. I'm a huge music nerd myself, but Newsom is definitely a gap in my listening that I need to fill one of these days!

I'm excited to see your interpretation of all of those teams whenever you have the time/will - and a Portuguese version of this one would be an absolute delight. I'll probably bump them up into the next expansion, but that won't be for a while yet (as I resist the temptation to do expansions every in game year...)
