Oh I agree, having the rosters right is much more important than having player histories. I'm looking forward to the release with this winters transactions and draftees.

Will the next set have compensation draft picks for teams that have lost type A free agents? No biggie just checking.

Best of my knowledge is that there isn't anyway to accurately simulate the loss of Type A FA's when starting a league (but if I am incorrect and you can, someone let me know!).

Got 2011 draftees imported last night and burned through two team's top 10 lists... pushing back any imminent release, because I'd like to get some prospect lists done first (guys in the 2011 draft class were rated much higher than in-game prospects, so guys like Rendon immediately become the top prospects on their teams, above Harper, etc.) - would like to go through and iron that out this week. Set is looking close.

Just checking in to say in the latest update a lot of pitchers need their roles changed. Several SP are incorrectly listed as MR, and several CL are MR. Also, when I manually change their positions their ratings drop considerably.

This is dependent on how the computer wishes to use the player and cannot be set in stone to where the computer won't move the players around - never a fix for this (on purpose). Rating changes when roles change are intentional.

Ahh ok, I gotcha. Thanks for these outstanding rosters. You take this game to another level for me, and I appreciate it a great deal. Keep up the good work!

Great work Cubby!! Just a heads up. Noticed in a few minutes of browsing that some players do not have 2011 stats added like Jerome Williams, R.A. Dickey, Daniel Herrera to name a few.

what about the ballpark dimensions? Have they been corrected yet? Are the MiLB parks still needing to be adjusted as well?

I went through an adjusted all the MLB ballparks and saved them to .prk files. Stadium names, dimensions, wall heights, park factors, and weather. I have ball and picture coordinates set for MLB2K stadiums from Pasta's site. If that interests anyone message me. Don't have the patience to do that to the minor leagues though

What's the status on this project? Is it dead? I've been following it for weeks and checking back each day to see if/when the rosters are posted.

I'm more than happy to offer my assistance if it would help push the new set through faster!

one thing to remember is that the rosters won't be completed until all the zips projections are released.

i'm a newbie fighting my way through a new game, and i'm close, but i hit another road block.

i'd like to do a season replay with the teams scrambled, but only with players who played in 2011.

i draft for my team, but i'd like to have the computer draft the rest of the league using only players who meet my specific eligibility criteria.

is there a way to take all the prospects and guys like johan santana and adam wainright out of the pool?

How does one install the latest Cubsfan roster that he recently posted? I want to start a new season with this but am not sure where to unzip this...I thought a tutorial was supposed to be coming?

Hello All

New to the game. Does anyone know if Cubsfan plans to put out a roster update with all the latest moves made? Like Reyes on Miami and such?

Or has he done it already and I am downloading the wrong file?

When the file is unzipped you will get a folder named CF 2012_v1.1
In that folder is another folder named CF MLB 2012 Rosters.lg
You copy and paste this folder into the OOTP directory.

I use windows 7 so mine is in:
C:/Documents/OutofTheParkDevelopments/OOTPBaseball2010/saved_games.

Then start OOTP 12. Click on load game and select CF MLB 2012 Rosters.
When it is uploading you will get an error about historical database...just click ok and continue on.

Once the file is finished uploading you should be able to play.

He is working on a file with the current roster changes and signings. Not out yet.
