Not typical baseball colors, but I will say that these are done excellently.

I don't think they're the best set I've ever done, of course, but you're more than welcome to think so, you know, EC. As is anyone else, for sure. As you know, I've done a lot of items, and I'll probably do a lot more, Lord willing and all, in the future.

I don't know how soon I'll be putting the Tokyo Capitals into at least one, if not more than one, of my games just yet, especially seeing as I don't have any logos for them yet to work with here, it seems. But maybe I'll be able to get them into one or more leagues soon enough, in the future, somehow.

Thanks for your input, and all, and it's most appreciated, in any case, as you know. I do hope to be playing baseball at least a little on Saturday, even though I'm unfortunately not quite done with that other major writing project's first draft yet as I'd hoped to be by then. Please watch the forums for at least one possibly new or possibly continued dynasty-style report, sometime in the next week, if at all possible, and maybe I'll be able to write for it or them at least a little bit, if not a lot, in the near future.

I wonder if jg2977's seen my new Springfield Thunderbirds items that I made for his birthday yet. It doesn't seem like he has, or at least he hasn't let me know yet what he thinks of them, in any case, here at all, if he has already seen them.

As for the Sailor Moon and/or Love Hina-related graphics request threads, I'll probably post at least one of them by the end of February at some length, with one thread per anime/manga series in question here. It will probably take at least a little while to complete enough related work for all the needed teams and all, for either thread, but, hopefully, they'll all still have enough work done for each of them by May or June, if all goes sufficiently according to plan, either here on the forums or in the real world, somehow, just the same.

I most likely would already have posted the first of those two appropriate graphics request threads by now. But I've been rather busy with a number of other things, of late, as you know. And I'm still hunting for suitable pictures people could use for reference here if and when they'd be ready, willing, and able to do related items for those two anime/manga franchises.

I'll post them up as soon as time permits, in any case, EC. But in the meantime, I've got various other things to work on, both online and offline. And I'll also definitely have to wait to see if anyone can create sufficiently good logos for all the Japanese teams I've most recently been working with at least a little bit, if not a lot, here before I can then potentially add them to various leagues, or create leagues for them to be in. That's if they've not already been used in any of my games for sure, of course. CD out.

Just guessing... jg2977 is like me and most other OOTP gamers... traditional styles and colors are the most popular by far here on the Mods Forums.

Your styles and color blends are not mass appeal... they are too flamboyant for me... and likely too unique for most gamers.... if they liked your styles and colors, you would be getting far more requests to do teams.

As you know, I did a set of Springfield Thunderbirds for jg2977... he posted that he was going to use my set in his league... he liked my colors and style better.

Why don't you rework the Springfield Thunderbirds in Red with secondary Blue and White colors... leaving off the Yellow Gold color.

Do the T-Birds just like you did the Tokyo Capitols.. just change the colors to Red, Blue and White... but use the same exact style..

He might prefer your version over mine.

Open up the Tokyo jersey and cap templates and just change the lettering to Springfield and the Thunderbirds... it should be an easy thing to do... also remove the Tokyo symbols and replace with the T-Birds image.

Exactly what EC said. I prefer traditional colors and designs, as do most people around here.

The Tokyo Capitals set is very nice. The green and purple work together. It's not something you see frequently, but it was the color scheme that the Milwaukee Bucks NBA team used during part of the 1990s. I really like the fonts too.

I might just do some more items in red for the Thunderbirds as well. Just haven't done that yet, to be sure. Probably won't be that hard to do, once I open up the necessary templates and all, I think.

I do think I did good work on the Tokyo Capitals, but I don't think I'll be done working with that team until some suitable logos are made for them here. In any case, I don't think they're the best work I've ever done on these forums. To be honest, they're probably not even in at least my top 10, but are most likely in at least my top 30 or 40, so far, in relation to the teams I've done work on so far.

My Israel-related work, for instance, is somewhat higher-ranking in my mind than my work related to the Tokyo Capitals, and probably even in my top 10 or top 5 of all the teams I've done work for to date. I'd have to look at all my team-related work to give you a list of my favorite teams that I've already done work for to date, but Tokyo still likely doesn't break into my top ten at this point in time, in relation to the Capitals. I will admit that it does look really nice, but that team still needs more work on it, for sure. Maybe even at least a few gradient-related items might help it rise higher in my mind by the time I'm done working on them enough.

Thank you for your advice and all here, EC, and I really don't know what the future holds for me and/or others in this world of ours, exactly, whether in the near future or the more distant future, of course. But I do know Who holds the future in His Hands, and I know He will take care of me and everyone else who believes in Him, come what may, forever, even if we're in mortal danger at times in this world of ours, for sure. It's often been interesting for me these past fifty years in my life, seeing as I'm about to turn fifty years old tomorrow, not to mention rather challenging at times, for sure. While they haven't necessarily gone exactly as I'd hoped they would, in many respects, I've had an interesting life, to say the least, and I'm quite thankful to my Lord and Saviour for preserving me and many others around me for as long as He has in this world of ours.

There's only one font used on the Springfield items, I believe, just so you know, and that is JUSTICE LEAGUE, if I'm not too mistaken here, jg2977. There is a Springfield in Minnesota, but you obviously don't actually have to put the related team there, you know. There are many other Springfields elsewhere in the country besides Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Illinois, for example, of course. CD out.

Here are some uniforms for the Flatbush Trolleys, along with some caps to go along with them. They will be in the same colors as I used for the Brooklyn Dodgers-related uniforms I made and posted in post 939 of this thread, but lighter-shaded, most likely. Will also be posting some caps I made for the Brooklyn Dodgers in the post after this one, I think, just so you know.

The non-white and non-black and non-gray colors used on these items and the items from post 939 of this thread are as follows, and the font used for all related items is currently Rochester, as well:

Here are some just-made caps to hopefully match well with the uniforms that I shared years ago in post 885 of this thread for the California Angels. I don't have any matching logos for them yet, of course, but maybe someone can make some up for me with the appropriate colors and/or font(s), later on.

The fonts used for this team's items are currently Shalom on the home items and Roddenberry on the away items. And the current color-related information for them all is listed below:

As for your next league or leagues' future teams, perhaps teams that haven't won overall titles in any or all of your current or past leagues could certainly be potential candidates for inclusion in it or them, EC. Just a thought here from the birthday guy, that's all. It's still rather hard for me to believe that I'm now fifty years old, as of today, chronologically speaking. But it's still the truth of things here, just the same, to be honest. I still often feel much, or at least a little bit, younger than I technically am now, it now seems to me, if I'm not too mistaken here in my own life. CD out.

Sorry, I tried several Japanese fonts... but they would spike badly in justafan... could not get them to work... could not find your font... sego font... that must not be the right name.

This is the best Japanese-looking font I could find... it also spiked if I tried to use outline trim colors.

Give me the right name of the font you used and I will try to use.

It's OK if you don't like these logos... please tell me... it will not hurt my feelings at all.... I don't want to waste my time doing logos for you if you don't like my work... which is just average at best.

I know you don't like round or square, but I don't know how to do it any other way.

Not Capitols, Capitals, EC. But I do like the center image, in truth, at least a little.

Look for fonts called kodakku and SEGA LOGO FONT, if you can. If you can't find them easily enough, and all, then just try and get as close as you can to what I used for Tokyo.

I get a lot of my free fonts, and have in the past, from https://www.fontspace.com/. I usually go for the ones with at least 250 characters and/or glyphs for themselves, so that I can use diacritical marks, and/or various symbols, if and whenever necessary for various projects, whether graphics-related or writing-related, for instance. There are several thousand fonts there, many of them 100 percent free for commercial use, in fact.

As for what I've done today, I was actually able to spend at least a couple of hours away from home today browsing and all with my Dad. We got a really nice chair for me to use in my office, and a pair of new work boots, along with several other things, including a red, white, and blue plaid shirt or jacket with a zipper, to be sure. And, of course, a bit to eat as well, as you might often expect from some time out away from home for a little while for fun and all, for the first time in at least a little while, most likely.

I'm going to like using this new chair and the new boots, I think, among other things. While it may still be a bit too cold to wear the new zip-up thing here in Minnesota, it looks really nice, and all. Also, a friend of mine from my time at MCC sent me a nice hat and a light and a few snacks, along with a nice message wishing me Happy Birthday and all. I hope to hear back more from him in the future, of course, if and whenever possible and all, you know.

If you check the appropriate area, once you've clicked on the Fonts section at the top of the page, you can make sure that the only fonts you get are fonts free for commercial use, instead of those which are potentially free only for personal use, it seems to me. And you can have random fonts pop up from time to time, if you go to the bottom of the page, as well, just so you know, EC. You might find that site quite useful as well for your own creations, jg2977, for that matter, as might many others as well, of course. CD out.
