Remember, those uniforms are a few years old now, from within the first ten pages for this thread, I believe, at most, EC. I just hadn't been able to do the caps for them before now. I don't think I'll have to actually re-post the already-made uniforms for the other Japanese teams I've done and posted here, if I include links to the relevant posts earlier in this thread, when I post the relevant caps to go with them, though. Might still have to do some digging here to note the post numbers, at least in this thread, in any case, just the same. CD out.

Yes, but I still would like to share a bit outside of them periodically in this thread, if and when I can, you know. Not too much in a short enough period of time, mind you, of course, but at least a little every so often, in any case, EC.

After all, discussions of certain other matters have periodically inspired me with my own graphics here, to be sure. Or helped me figure out how I might be better able to do certain kinds of graphics and all, for that matter, at times.

Graphics don't normally develop out of a vacuum, you know, but they come often from inspiration gathered from other sources as well. Take, for instance, a number of recent offerings from both 20-range and hurricanekevin, to name a few. They both have gained definitely inspiration from certain musical acts, for example, you know, especially after talking to people like you.

My main inspiration is God, of course. But writing and various other sources of graphical inspiration for me also exist as well, you know, when it comes to helping me figure out better how to potentially do certain graphics around here on the forums. I realize many may not necessarily be quite as interested in reading about my various writing projects, for instance. But they still do help me with my graphics-creation process around here quite often, in at least a few ways apiece, at least a bit more than they don't, I believe.

Maybe TC_Dale will allow me to share more about such matters, in this thread, without actually relegating it to OT, if I can manage to somehow produce enough graphics and all more often around here than I generally have for a while, at times. Here's hoping he does, of course, when it might be sufficiently appropriate and all here, at times, you know. CD out.

Eugene has it right, CD. Just use the thread here for graphics, and the other things you can start a thread in OT for non-graphics discussions. Otherwise, the thread would have to join OT completely since it is not on-topic posting for the mods forum.


If you want to discuss non graphics work in OT, I think that might be the best course of action. Otherwise your thread that Eugene created for you would be relegated to OT completely.



And that would be a shame for all that work that Eugene and jg2977 and others that have done some great things for you to go to waste.

Here are some Sagimihara caps to go along with the uniforms seen earlier in post 104 of this thread. The non-white color-related informational details are currently as follows for each of them, as well:

The font used on the primary home and away items is La Oriental, while the font used on the alternate items is Aclonica. For those who'd potentially be making logos for this team while using those fonts, perhaps a more traditional style (retro?) might be more appropriate for the items using the primary font, while a more modern and more whimsical anime/manga style might be better for ones using the secondary font. Seeing as Sagimihara was probably too long of a word or name to easily fit on the away items made years ago, I decided to go with the nickname of Skylark City for those items related to the team in question here. Just so you know, folks. That is all. CD out.

P.S. Maybe the logos could feature a skylark dressed up like a samurai, for instance, perhaps? Just a thought here, that's all. CD out.

Here are Osaka Ninja-related caps to hopefully go quite well with any or all of the five uniforms that are seen in post 108 of this very thread. The team's current Ninja logo is a generic one, so any sufficiently good one or ones to upgrade this team's current looks with will certainly be much appreciated here, for sure. The font used in question on all the related items, both for the uniforms and for the caps, is Nandaka Western, it seems.

The non-white color-related information is below, as near as I've been able to find it out well enough, as well, folks:

CD, you have the ability to do jerseys and caps... there is no reason you can't create logos using justafan's great software.

If I can do it, you certainly can... you are much more skilled in computer knowledge than I am.

Do some logos and let us see what you can do.

No one is going to do the logos for you in this thread... there is just no interest apparently.

Give logos a try... I KNOW you can do it.

EC, I've not really been able to do original logos with Pickoff just yet, for some yet-unknown reason or reasons here. And as you know, I normally prefer non-circular and non-square logos, for instance, for various teams, no matter the sport, in truth.

Basically, I might often know better what I might want teams to have for logos, but I can't make them easily, if at all, at a level I'm sufficiently satisfied with, for whatever possible reason or reasons here. I don't know if it's the template(s) normally used for many logos or not, or other related matter(s), just yet, to be honest. But compared to many of the others around here, I clearly am not very good at drawing out what I want, or anything, many times, even on a computer, without enough help and all, unfortunately. I'm much better at describing things when it comes to potential original logos for teams and leagues than in making such logos, to be sure.

Don't you think I'd love to be able to design many original high-quality logos like many others can here, Lord willing? I'd eventually like to, if I can, of course, EC. But right now, at least, I don't have that capability, for whatever possible reason or reasons here that may currently exist for me.

However, He has certainly inspired me with my various uniforms, caps, and other designs that you haven't yet ever seen, for sure, in any case. Or with various other things I've done that you've never seen yet, either, for that matter. Maybe one day, I will be able to do sufficiently original logos that others can also use here besides just me, you know. But that day has not yet come, if it ever will, on these forums, to be honest.

In the meantime, I will continue to do as He leads and inspires me, both online and offline, to the best of my ability and all here, of course. No matter what He wishes for me to do, in either the real world or in cyberspace, I will still endeavor to do it to the best of my ability for His and His Kingdom's glory and all, you know, EC. In any case, here are the now-made matching caps for the Sapporo Snowmen to go along with the long-made uniforms seen in post 109 of this thread. The font used for all relevant team items so far is currently Arial Black, and the color-related information is below, as follows:

The Sapporo Snowmen are well done, CD.
The colors go together very well, except for the pink on the rim of the bill.
IMO the cap would look better without the pink... just my opinion.

IMO not using the circular or square type logos makes it easier to create a logo... all you need is an image and lettering.

You did that on the Springfield Thunderbirds and they came out well... except the SPRINGFIELD lettering does not show up well in games sometimes... it is too small IMO at 50 x 50 pixels.

No matter how good the logo is, my use in the game depends on how well the logos and lettering look at 50 x 50 pixels... I want them to be clearly seen.

No pink for the Snowmen, although it might look pink to you, perhaps, just the same. I typically prefer 300x300 pixels for most primary logos and 150x150 pixels for most secondary logos, in truth. I used a whitish color for the Springfield home items, at least partly, if not for all of them. The logos for them that I found I modified here to fit my usual preferences for sizes, where then possible and appropriate and all, as well, if memory serves me correctly enough here, for that matter.

Yes, I do prefer the more freehand-style logos and/or wordmarks, often, for teams and/or leagues. I suppose because it might seem like they might perhaps have much more personality, so to speak, for many of them, than more confined ones normally are.

There should hopefully be a team-related set for the Yokohama Sailors posted soon, followed by one for the Tokyo Capitals, although I will definitely need help on the related logos, in any case. Maybe someone can help out on those two teams well enough, somehow, of course, once I post the relevant main uniforms and/or caps for them here easily enough. CD out.

CD, if you are creating these teams for the OOTP Community... make them in traditional styles and use tradition colors... otherwise, not many people will use them.

As a friend, here is the honest truth...no one except jg2977 is asking you to do graphics work for them... yes, I have let you do some of my IPA teams, but I did not use them... most of them were in your style, not mine... I only used one Hillsboro jersey out of all those versions you did and one cap... that was because you did them exactly as I asked.

When you follow my instructions exactly, you do good work... but that takes too much of your time and it takes too much of my time.

As a friend, I don't want to waste your time.

Once again... if you want the OOTP Community to use your graphics work, then make your graphics in traditional styles and colors... your unique style and colors are not what the mass majority of the OOTP Community is using.

Here are all the Yokohama Sailors-related items I've produced so far, both in terms of uniforms and caps. Perhaps a style reminiscent of Japanese-style sailing ships or sailors from the middle to late 1800's might be appropriate enough here, in terms of logos, I think. But please do feel quite free to design such related logos as you might each like and all, if you actually do decide to try to do some suitably good logos for this team here, of course, folks.

The home font is Trade Winds, while the away font is Beach Resort. The non-white color-related information is below, as well, and it is as follows:

The colors chosen for this team now are similar to the red from the Yokohama flag, and to the colors for one or more Sailor Scouts (Senshi) from Sailor Moon, for your information. And now for the Tokyo Capitals. I tried to use colors from the Tokyo flag or the Tokyo Metropolitan symbol as best as I could, at least, for sure.

The home font is kodakku, while the away font is SEGA LOGO FONT. The relevant color-related information is below, as follows:

If you decide to try and do at least some, if not several, logos for this particular team here, please try to at least partly incorporate either the symbol on the Tokyo flag or the symbol of the Tokyo Metropolis, if not both, in the same design or designs for said logo or logos, in whatever ways you might choose to do the needed logos here.
