I'm hoping that you can do the Eugene Churchmen as well, to honor EC. They can be an MLB expansion team in Eugene, OR.

I'd wait until at least 1911 or 1916, if not 1921, for any expansion team's first season, before you ultimately do expand your MLB in the relevant dynasty. Also, I hope to see my players that you retired which haven't yet become coaches or front office personnel and who are still young enough to play in it back in your dynasty on their proper teams for next season, of course. Meaning all the Freemans and Follis and certain others from the second generation who've been retired like they were who aren't yet coaches or front office personnel, plus any we were thinking of including, but which haven't yet been put into your game here, that is.

As for Eugene, Oregon, that might be a possibility for an expansion location if you don't actually want a Portland team, I think, in your MLB. Unless of course, you include other teams from the Pacific Northwest or British Columbia or northern California, jg2977. CD out.

May possibly have written enough for chapter 20's text, at least for now, but not quite sure yet. IF I have, at least for now, then that likely means I'll just have to finish writing up chapters 17 and 24, plus all of chapters 18, 21, 22, and possibly 25, if I've currently written enough text and all for chapters 19, 20, and 23 by now, for at least the time being.

I still have several battle-related scenes for chapter 24 to write up here. And I really do need to finish chapter 17, for sure, before I can even begin writing chapter 18. I also have at least some, if not a lot, of potential text already written for chapter 25 here, for sure. But depending on what actually happens during all of chapter 24, it may still need to be scrapped, or changed significantly, before I can ultimately add it to the rest of the main story here to close it out, of course.

Will keep you all posted as I can and all, for sure, folks. Lord willing and all, you know, that is. Please stay tuned, and all, and hopefully we'll all somehow be able to see a rather good number of assorted team-related graphics being posted here fairly soon, in any case. CD out.

Making graphics, mods, uniforms, logos, etc. are on topic here in the Mods area. Everything else should be in OT so you can post there about your experiences with writing. I want you to enjoy posting about both topics, but, not in the Mods forum. If the trend of posting about writing (which is a journey all to its own) in the Mods forum, your thread here will completely move to OT.

Just start a new thread in OT, and give folks the chance to see how your writing is doing. Let's keep Mods stuff in the thread, ok?

I haven't ever opted into OT, and I wasn't even intending to, in the first place, for various reasons. All right, I'll try to better stay focused here, in any case, for sure. Please don't be upset with me if I still have at least a few problems doing so here, though, every so often.

I'm not trying to be troublesome here, but it appears I have been at least a little, unfortunately, with much of my non-graphics-related commentary here. I sincerely apologize for that, of course, to be sure.

With enough good fortune here, I'll actually be able to get back to doing many more graphics-related things here, hopefully. And the sooner that I can actually do that well enough, the better, for that matter, no doubt.

Just downloaded Inkscape for this computer. I think I have an earlier version of it on my old laptop, but it's probably going to take some time to get used to using it here, at least for the first time, if not at least a second time, for sure. I'll keep you all posted, as I can and all, of course, as time permits and all. But right now, I think it's about time I get back to finishing that story as best as I can, as soon as I can, for its first draft, at least. Yes, Arthyr Freeman plays right field for the Billing Rams in the Secondary League, while Gordon Freeman pitches for the Braxton Bruins in the Supreme League.

Gordon worked in relief this past Sunday... check the box score posted in the South Island thread... you can always follow them that way.

Arthyr was the starting right fielder this season, but the AI put him on the reserved roster... I fixed it and he will start this coming weekend... I took away the AI control and took over all teams myself... it changed my rosters and changed the lineups and batting order I set up.

Here is an update for the Freemans from the Islandian Pro Alliance.

Arthyr Freeman has had a good career at shortstop of the Hillsboro Blazers in the Tycobbian East.

Gordon Freeman has had a tough career, bouncing around with 6 different teams... his latest is the Tuckanarra Tiger Cats in the TU East... his is not on the active roster currently... he will have to earn his spot in the rotation next spring.

I realize they are not superstars... In the Islandian Pro Alliance Arthyr is a good shortstop and has had a pretty fair career... not so for Gordon... but it was fairly good late in the year for Tuckanarra... hopefully he will make the team this coming spring... they are now 31 and 30 years old... Arthyr may have a few more productive years... this could be the end of the road for Gordon in the IPA.

Gordon has done better in the South Island League, while Arthyr is just mediocre... but both are young in the South Island League and could develop into good players.

Yes, of course I do follow them as closely as I can, whenever I can, EC. I also noticed you have both Freemans currently listed as R/R, when they likely should be S/R, if I remember correctly, in all leagues. But I'll have to check that to be sure, seeing as I've both proposed them for jg2977's leagues and put them in at least a few of mine as well before. And I'll always follow them, of course, you know, seeing as they're my players, for sure. I wonder if that's part of the reason why Gordon hasn't done well in your IPA, if not all of it, at least. It very well could be, you know, or not.

You probably made Arthyr older than Gordon by accident and all, but it's too late to change things now, of course, as you probably said at least once before. At least in the dynasties they're both in now, most likely.

Then again, you probably do try as hard as you possibly can to give created/edited players more realistic ratings than others do when they create players for their league, so that might be another reason why the Freemans haven't done as well as they might have done in other leagues reported on in this forum, to at least some degree. Just like I generally try to do here, whenever I add a created player to one of my dynasties in any version of OOTP.

So please do continue posting about the Freemans, as you like and can, even if they happen to retire and all, of course. Even if they turn into coaches or whatnot, that is. CD out.

As for the other matter, it's just about a week before my birthday, but I'm probably going to have to spend much, if not most, of my remaining available computer time working as hard as I can on the other project before then. I'll certainly try to get some things done and posted for jg2977 by his likely birthday on the 9th, but I'd still suggest you try to give him some cap and uniform options to use in the meantime, just the same.

Not sure I'll be able to actually meet my planned deadline for my story's first draft, but as many might say, even though I never really did go to college when it wasn't related to my high school studies as a PSEO student, I'll still give it the old college try, so to speak. In any case, whether I'm done sufficiently well with it or not by the 11th, I do intend to play baseball or something, one way or another, for sure. Please pray I'm able to write a lot, Lord willing, by then, so that I can do so for a long enough time in the near future, EC. CD out.
