Real Beisbol would have never had controversy if it werent for one owner and this board, the league has not had one problem since the texas gm was fired and everything has ran completely smooth.

Just curious. I went to the board on your league and saw that someone was complaining it looked like your pitching staff had been altered. That they wanted to do a trade but realized that, well, the stats were different.
I mean, do you change everything on your team or are you just trying to be more subtle but failing miserably at it? Remind me, never to join a online league with you. "Ya know.. i hate doing this. I honestly dont like looking at this garbage, but i was trying to put something together to possible aquire castillo from FLA and i noticed something rather interesting about his pitching staff... Ill ignore the fact that somehow Wilkin Ruan becaome a 3 star guy after I traded him as a 2 star... but heres where I go "Hmmmmm" Look at the Clutch Performance and Consistancy of EVERY ONEof his pitchers..... OMG. I honestly dont know what to say on the topic other than.... WOW. " A quote on your board. |

This was already brought up earlier in this thread, and has already been explained and taken care of, notice nobody in the league has any problems, it was a "misunderstanding" by the dodgers gm. He understood once explained, why didnt you post that

mfitterer1,
http://realbeisbol.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=142 Just for everyone else. How is this an answer, "What do you have in mind, I am interested in doing that if reasonable." When the post date is yesterday/today. Why do you edit your players? Please explain. |

My players werent edited any more than any other teams were and it was at the beginning of the season. These secondary ratings werent looked at or even noticed by me and their were other teams that had similar clutch and consistency ratings, and then I found out they are useless ratings anyways.

Hey mfitterer1,
What file did you originally use for your league? For acurate player ratings? |

No comment on his allegation that Ruan was a 2-star when this owner traded him to you, and now is a 3-star?
I havent checked, but I'm taking a wild guess that his development history wont show any improvements... |

In all fairness this happens a lot... 2 star guys going to 3 w/ no history of improvement.

Ok... I am the "Dodgers GM" in realbeisbol and i guess most of you have seen my prior accusations... well ill come strong with a couple more just to put icing on the cake
First off, ill give u cold, hard evidence that he edits ratings during the year. Take a look at Paul LoDuca and his "B" defensive range rating with tampa bay. Now check the Player development page in tampa... notice how he has had no range increases. Now go back to LA where LoDuca started the year.. notice how he had a range drop from C to D. Yet somehow now... it seems as if LoDuca amazingly learned how cover the bunt 2 times better without him...errrr..... ever really getting better. Id assume he got upset that i got the better of another GM so badly so he dropped a ratings blast to even it out a little. I know this is small, but its just another clean example of this crap. Im sure you all already know about the beckett thing.... which i pointed out... and the Clutch ratings fiasco... which.. I pointed out. Minded i never had and idea of his past and i pointed these things out, without even knowing that he had a past of it. Just makes me think... what the hell are the rest of the people in this league thinking? Im quitting the league, anyone got any leagues i could join? |

star ratings can go up or down with scouts off. Gold stars increase if the ratings go up and Blue stars go up if the talent changes. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw an increase in Gold Stars although 2 to 3 is a big jump without being 2 1/2 inbetween. As for Blue stars, you'd have to see development history of talents going up to see an increase there.
