But before we do any other teams, we will have to find out where they were taped and/or are being taped, for location-based purposes. Okay, let's see here. We should start with the first six teams listed, I think, folks. Then add more teams as the league grows and all, as may be appropriate.

The starting teams should probably be as follows:

Burbank Price-Guessers (The Price Is Right)
Culver City Puzzle-Solvers (Wheel of Fortune)
Culver City Trivia Buffs (Jeopardy!)
Hollywood Card-Flippers (Card Sharks)
Hollywood Luck-Pressers (Press Your Luck)
Santa Monica Chasers (The Chase)

If any of you would like to suggest other game shows to perhaps be included eventually in this league, please feel free to make any reasonable enough suggestions you may like and can, and I'll think about it.

As far as ones that I think MIGHT work here, if their representative teams aren't necessarily based, for location-related purposes, in places with two teams already, there may be room for a team inspired by Sale of the Century and another inspired by Deal or No Deal, for instance. However, I don't want more than sixteen total teams in this league at this point, or within ten to twenty years of the league's decided starting year, for sure.

I wasn't able to find out what the fonts were that were used in a few of the wordmarks for the logos in question, exactly. I tried to approximate the looks of the fonts, however, for a few of the teams, at least in terms of what free fonts I could find and all. But I may still not have actually used the closest available free font or fonts to at least one or two of the wordmarks/logos, in truth, of course.

Many of the game shows were probably taped or are being taped in the Los Angeles area of California, or somewhere nearby. But for our purposes here, I don't want to see more than two teams in a particular city or town, even if they might be taped in the same place, or have been taped in the same place, more or less. So even if more than two of these shows are actually taped in Hollywood, California, for instance, only two teams here should be based in a single city or town at the same time, I think. If we have to move where certain shows' teams are based, for these purposes, then we will do so, whether or not the teams are assigned to areas near their normal actual taping locations past or present.

The two places I don't want any more teams representing location-wise at this point are Hollywood and Culver City, in California. Burbank, as I have technically decided to put the Price-Guessers in that location, even if it wasn't or isn't where the show's actually been taped or is now being taped, can have up to one more team in this setup, as can Santa Monica.

Culver City and Hollywood currently have the maximum of two teams each in them, base-wise, folks. So please don't suggest putting any more teams here in those two places, okay? Or at least not for now, anyway, that is.

Hope to see many more suggestions for game shows to have teams inspired by eventually present in this proposed league soon, of course. Any reasonable suggestions will be considered, whether or not I'm able to make up teams' looks related to them, in truth, folks. That is all for now, at least, I think, then. CD out.

We will also need to decide on stadiums to use for each team, whether real or not, of course. I can't play OOTP 21 yet, so any quickstart will have to be for versions 20 and earlier, if I am going to be able to play it, for sure, anytime soon. Or templates, for that matter.

We will also need some facegens made eventually for those who I'll want to have as team owners/managers/coaches/whatever with this league. Trebek, for one, obviously, preferably looking as much like he did in the 1980's as possible, for instance.

I'll look up more information about the various hosts or co-hosts of certain games as I can too, when and how I can and all. In the case of the owner of the Chasers, probably a facegen of, say, Mark Labbett, for example, might be best for them, seeing as he was the main, if not only, Chaser for the American version of the game on Game Show Network several years back.

I'll look up the necessary information, and we can go from there as needed and as possible, of course. Alex Trebek will likely need to be edited in as the Trivia Buffs' owner, and probably a younger-looking Bob Barker could be listed as the owner of the Price-Guessers, for example, I think. So far, we might need facegens for Alex Trebek (Jeopardy!), Bob Barker (The Price Is Right), Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune), Mark Labbett (The Chase), Peter Tomarken (Press Your Luck), and Bob Eubanks (Card Sharks), at least, if not others as well. If we include Sale of the Century, we'll need ones for the game show host, not the baseball player, named Jim Perry, and if we do Deal or No Deal, we'll need one for Howie Mandel. At least based on the research I've done so far, that is.

After we have all the needed graphics done for this concept, what do you people think might be a good idea to base another potential league on that I could maybe do items for? I'd like to see your suggestions here and all, I think, within reason, of course.

BNN, I'll try to get some caps made up for you soon related to the Chillers, but it may still take a little while for me to do them here, in truth. Just so you know.

As for the Arizona-based league and teams I'm working on for you, koohead, with the ones I've already done as best as I can at the present time, we'll need some logos for the teams I've worked on that don't yet have them. When those logos are done, I'll finally be able to have them called finished here, I think, sufficiently well. Once they're done, I'll reveal the other potential locations for the bonus teams I have in mind related to this prospective Arizona-based league I've been working on for a while, at least.

kq76, I still need at least some good input from you here about the Vice City Electrics items I've done most recently from you, to know whether or not I've done enough work on them for you. CD, you are welcome to use my Islandian Pro Alliance teams any way you like... same thing for the North Island and South Island teams... you can create your own jerseys and caps for the teams, if you like... but don't do them ust for me.

Could you please show us what the uniforms and caps and all look like for the teams you just dropped from your recreational leagues, at least? I'd like to see what they look like so I might hopefully be better able to think of ways to either improve them or make new versions of them for use by anyone, maybe even you, if you decide to bring them back into active existence for any league, whether past, present, or future. Lord willing, of course, that is, in any case.

I posted a short post related to the Texas Border Patrol on the Retro thread, at Germaniac's suggestion. Hopefully someone will be willing to consider trying to help me out with them, especially since I'd only need logos for them, for sure, at this point.

I'm still hoping kq76 gets back to me soon, but I haven't seen him posting for some time, so I don't know if he'll want any more work done on the Vice City Electrics yet, of course. Hopefully he'll drop in soon, of course.

Thank you for your kind offer, and perhaps I can even get some ideas for Far Mountain that might look good, sometime later on. I haven't yet, sufficiently well, but maybe this winter, I'll have a chance, Lord willing. I'll probably find myself spending much of the winter writing, if things don't get too hectic or dangerous or anything once we know better about certain things or people in this country and/or world, that is.

In any case, I will trust the Lord to look after His own, and protect them and those close to them, along with their possessions and all, as He wills and all, for sure. Things may get rather dangerous and all, no matter who wins the election processes, but as long as we keep our eyes on our proper goal and all, and focus on the One who made us as needed, we'll certainly make it Home.

I don't know yet just when I'll go Home, Lord willing, or by what means, of course. But if and when I actually do, I certainly expect to see my dear departed younger brother in very short order after doing so. For considering how his life was here in this world, and how he was, being profoundly autistic and all, I KNOW he's with Jesus, and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind of that simple fact, EC. My eyes are on the Lord, and I try to seek Him and His ways daily, even though I am still an imperfect human being at this time in my eternal existence, of course.

CD, that would take me too much time to post 88 teams from my 3 dynasty leagues... to be very honest with you, I would do it for you because you are my good friend, but you most probably would not use MY graphics in YOUR leagues... our tastes are too different.

I could be wrong, but I think you just collect teams, leagues and graphics... you spend all of your time setting up leagues and you don't seem to ever play the leagues out... look at your dynasty threads... you have reported very little about the league standings and league results... you rarely post in them, especially since this thread has been in existence... so I see no good reason to take my time and do this for you... you don't ever seem to play your leagues out.

Basically, I set my leagues up, then concentrate on game play and enjoying my leagues... you have way too many teams and way too many leagues and league ideas... you need to decide on just one league... set it up with teams and graphics that you have downloaded from other people here on the Forum... and then concentrate on playing the league and enjoying it.

Personally, I don't enjoy getting the league graphics... they are hard to come by via personal requests... the graphics guys don't do many personal requests anymore... they are only doing special graphics they enjoy doing... that is why I go to txranger, low and Lawn Loaf for my teams... I just pick teams they have already done well and use them for my leagues... the only problem, they are not as active as they used to be... and I completely understand... they have done thousands of logos, jerseys and caps for us... they could be burned out.

Point taken, Eugene. At least about the general tastes in graphics, anyway. And I wasn't thinking of all 88 teams, in truth. Basically only the ones you dropped recently from your recreation leagues, at the current time.

I'd actually like to play a good deal more, but with certain other things also occupying my time and all, of course, such as reading the Bible and thinking about God and all, for instance, I probably don't play as much as I do certain other things. Especially with my latest main story currently being a work-in-progress as it is.

At the moment, I'm trying to figure out how to write a certain confrontation-type scene in it, and it's been giving me considerable fits for at least a little while. While I've been trying to figure out just how to get past the current writer's block, I have been working on various graphics here, as you've probably seen of late.

I really don't know yet if I'll ever get the hang of Pickoff well enough somehow, to be completely honest with you here, but I think I'm getting at least a bit better at doing caps and uniforms. Although it seems I can't actually have at least two Ballcap Creator windows available at the same time like I can with Jersey Creator, for some yet-unknown reason. Or at least not right now, I can't, if I've ever had at least two such windows available to me at a particular time, or if I ever will be able to again here on this computer, at least.

I hope to be able to do a lot of writing this winter, if at all possible and all, both on my main story and various threads of mine here, but we'll all have to see what the future holds for us all, of course. Lord willing, I'll be able to progress a good deal on the GBA-related thread, for instance, this winter, somehow.

It is going to be sad, I'm sure, for many people not to see Alex Trebek hosting Jeopardy! from now on, once his final show has aired, in first-run episodes, and strange. I do not yet know if I will continue to watch Jeopardy! once it has, but we'll have to see, for sure.

I do hope he was saved, of course, but such things are or at least were between him and God. If he was, then we'll see him again, I'm sure, Lord willing. If not, then we won't, simple as that.
