I never did a 70's version of royals stadium. Most of the different versions of historic stadiums have different wall dimensions which I have done. I did not do every iteration of every stadium. Therefore since the 73 version and 91 version had the same dimensions, I only used the 91 version Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Suntrust Park
When I did the signage and tv screens for the OOTP 18 parks I overlooked Suntrust which opened this year.

Silvam's Petco
Here is Silvam's version of the current PetCo. It is my understanding that his version is more current than the one in OOTP 18. I have named it Petco_Park-S so you put it in the Models folder and it won't get over-written by game updates.

Adion, your new parks upgrade with advertisements is awesome. I couldn't see these until my problem with the folders was straighten out. They look terrific. Great work you do. Thanks.

I did, and I see the crowds in your stadiums now too! Thanks for the fast reply.
I should learn to read I guess, as the answer was earlier in the thread The problem was that I had to put the stadiums in the ballparks/models folder, that did the trick. Beautiful parks, wow! Am loving my Red Sox 1920 league even more now.. |

I'm having a problem with these parks crashing in OOTP18. I don't have the crashing problems at all with the in game 3d parks that shipped with the game. Also never had a problem with Silvams parks in OOTP17. The crashes are happening at the end of the game after the box scores come up and I go to exit back to the main screen. Any ideas whats happening here. Is anyone else having the same kind of problem.

Historical Fenway park: grid is wrong,OFers play in stands/over the wall
Folks: I'm not sure if it was adion or silvam who created Historical Fenway. So I'm not sure who to address this to.
On the whole, the Historical Ballparks 1901-2016 is an excellent download/install for the "workshop" in OOTP18, and I'm grateful for it! However, I notice that Historical Fenway (I'm replaying the 75 season) has a grid that is off by quite a bit. THat is: The grid doesnt line up on the field (green circle for pitchers mound is far off to the right of the mound picture in 3Dmode ,for instance). I figured out how to use the mouse and re-align the grid, which was a pain in itself (I bow to you folks who work on the 3D ballparks...it must take the patience of a saint!). But additionally (and this is something I canNOT adjust nor figure out how to), the outfielders are playing over the wall and in the stands as their default position. So something is not right with the grid in this area, either. Can someone PLEASE re-adjust HIstorical Fenway properly so I can re-download it into mty OOTP 18 game? Or tell me how to adjust so the players are in the right place on the ballfield? Just an FYI: I simply downloaded and installed the HBP 1901-2016 program in the OOTP (Steam) workshop. Other historical BPs seem to be just fine (some are quite brilliant, to whoever worked on them). SO far it only seems to be historical Fenway. Thank you. As long as you have the .ootp3d file that came with each park (that I provided) the grids should be ok. I'll go back and check anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't test all the SILVAM park a modify in a game but I do check them all in the ball park editor. I just played a game with Shibe AL 41-52 and it was fine. What kind of video card are you using?

All of Silvam's original ballparks that I have tried (16 of them) have worked on OOTP17 on my old laptop. Moreover, I have tried a few of the updated stadiums with backgrounds/crowds on it, and they have worked as well. So far, it is only the Shibe AL 41-52 that has crashed with an all-white screen. I feel bad about even having to bring this to your attention, because Silvam & Adion, your work has been great and is much appreciated! |
