Signed Mike Arnold to a minor league deal to give AAA more IF depth. No plans on calling him up anytime soon. Signed Limo Rush to a minor league deal but promoted him to the ML roster and demoted LHP Eric Hurtado.

Rather surprised to see Colortown & Highland doing so well in the AL West so far. Good race so far in the NL East. Brandywine & Glenbard are going to battle all season.

Bad week. We are struggling despite what are stats are saying. George changed the lineup around. Burns was batting 4th now he is going to bat 2nd. Duggleby had a bad month. Eric Williams is DtD for 4 games and will probably sit 2 of the next 4 games. May's schedule is tough the 1st week and we have several DHers.

Big blow for the Red Devils.
Congrats to Bob Bellias. The 1st 300 game winner in the EBL. At 33 I see no reason why he won't get to 400. He should get his 3,000 K later this season. He will also get the Kyp Durron award renamed after him following the 2019 season, currently.
Jim Kanter & John Williams should also get 300 wins and 3000 K this season.

Swept Bird City but struggled vs Highland & Stryper. With the fact we won't need a #5 for a few weeks David Kent moved back to the pen. Kent could replace Garces if he continues to struggle.
Robert Meyer will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. (predetermined)

Big blow for Madison Heights, Gehle has good potential.
Texas doesn't have a lot of pitching left they were trying to outslug everyone like they used to, losing Torrez is going to hurt them.

Let's see who steps up for the Power while Perry is out or see if Glenbard can make up some ground.

Perfect week. Duggleby's average is still really low and Williams only has 1 HR. Nice to know we are winning when 2 of our 3 best players are struggling.

Good game for 40.
How Enos got the nickname "40". When he 1st came to the Capitals in 2005, I had several antique lamps around my office. One day while talking to Enos a bulb burned out. I asked him to hand me a bulb, as he handed it to me he said he had an idea (about how he wanted to pitch in that nights game). He also likes to drink so 40 worked better then 75.

4-1 this week. Played great in Friday's game. We have a new lineup. I hate telling George who to play and where to bat them but for now he is taking my advice.
Our toughest part of the schedule is coming up. 10 games in 8 days. DH this Sunday and next both times against MAR. For now we will carry just 11 pitchers but I might demote Valley and call up a pitcher if the pen gets used too much.
