Online Utilities (OU) for OOTP 13

Yeah, I noticed this in one of my OOTP 15 leagues. Highlights work, but the team is listed incorrectly. Seemed to start happening after one of the OOTP patches. I'll look into it.

Hey Getch, our league could use some help. Our Draft isn't working properly, I exported and then uploaded both the draft.csv and draft_eligible_players.csv files to the OOTPOU/draft/2015/100 folder within our cgi-bin folder. The order is all set properly, but for some reason not all of the eligible players are showing up. Out of 400+ players in the file, only 16 are displaying in OOTPOU.

Any ideas/suggestions?

When I had an issue like this I had to check the settings on the Admin page of the draft in the utilities. In the box Titled "Players shown" it should be a number higher than the total players in your draft. After making changes to the draft settings remember to click the save icon so they stick!

This is probably because OOTP is splitting up your players.csv file into players1.csv, players2.csv. A bunch of leagues had this issue.

First, make sure that the "Split Large Files" is not checked in the CSV export configurations in OOTP. If that is not the case, you are probably hitting the OOTP issue with upgraded leagues:

I think the fix is to delete the settings file which is located in the /settings folder (db_dump_... .cfg). Then define the settings again in OOTP. At least this is what someone told me fixed it.

Did this and unfortunately it didn't work. We're still only getting a handful of players displaying, and now none of their ratings are showing either.

We did just switch to the games new Feeder system for this draft, could that possibly have something to do with it?

Getch quick question for you and I know you have answered this before but there is just way to many pages to find it .

I have a commish that is using me for hosting and so i set up ootpou among other things for him . But his issue is that in ootpou there are players in the draft that are not in the draft in game so i am assuming its either an age thing or hidden players thing in game but i cant exactly remember . But i know that he said he does not have feeder league as wondering if you could highlight a solution or at least direct me in the right direction . thanks

Ratings may be because you have the "hide ratings" option in the CSV export setup. If you use scouts, set it to OSA ratings, otherwise make it set to true ratings.

Make sure you have the OOTP 15 version if you use feeder leagues, otherwise not all players show up.

The feeder age limit thing changed it seems with the new options for feeder league draft eligibility. Try changing the ages limits to be one higher or lower in OU Draft Admin screen until they match. That's what I had to do in my league.

you have to do that prior to the draft start right as I dont see the option after u import the draft.csv

If you have feeder leagues, there should be a Feeder Leagues section int the Draft Admin screen under the Draft Email section. Importing draft.csv only imports the draft order, but has no effect on the players in the draft pool.

We're having a similar problem now, Utilities is displaying players that aren't in the in-game draft pool. It seems like it's grabbing all players from the Feeder leagues, regardless of them being included in this years draft.

yea the guy doesnt have feeders but he has the international leagues.

Same issue here. Changed age limit for college to 22 and HS to 19, but I'm still seeing a lot of 15-16 yrs old in the pool.

Can one of you with the draft feeder league problem zip up your csv files and PM where I can download them? I'll take a look.

I am a commish of a league with feeder leagues and had no issue last year. We're a few days away from this year's draft so I'll look again.

I can try to tonight. I do know this that in game i can search for the player not in the game pool but in the ootpou pool and find them . I did find a possible file coruption well the game date i had was in the offseason so i searched a player not on the ingame pool but was on ootpou pool and i find him but when i clicked on him i got a different player . But when i updated my game date to the updated game date the player i searched was the player i searched. I was thinking that ootpou was grabing hidden players but not sure .

As we move to 1979 the last sim highlights and gamecast do not work at all. Everything else does what it is supposed to but those two produce nothing but the replay box, nothing ever happens
