When I am running a franchise, the whole thing, I'd love a tab or option to check my entire system for injured players, or fatigued guys. I check in every few days and have to scroll through each roster to see if anyone is 'red'.
Not a big deal, but it'd be a nice user friendly feature (if it doesn't exist already) |

QD, I promise you that I have never written anything about baseball.

Still, your suggested technique is currently the quickest way to find them, and sorting through those already DL'd isn't too hard.

How would you rate yourself in terms of stars or even ratings as in the game? |

Yeah, I think so. I imagine it is a HUGE adjustment for Japanese players coming over to America. Most Japanese revere the USA and are anxious about their english conversation skills (most of them know the rules as good or better than us!) what with all the different dialects and slang we use here. It would be hard enough only having to adjust to the best baseball talent in the world.

Yea, the privacy / public thing is a real pain. I have worked in very small towns where I'm the only person of my race in the whole town so I stuck out like a sore thumb, people frequently talked about me, and everything I did reflected on my employers. I had to set my mindset to think that I was at work any time I left my apartment. Luckily the people were very nice and the towns were very beautiful. |

And stars? Like 4.5? Edit: Thinking about it, it comes closer to a five-star rating. Last edited by Dutchy; 07-02-2011 at 01:49 PM. |

I just discovered this thread. Very cool. Also, we we attended the same CC - Yavapai (go 'Ole Ruff)! I received my Associate of Science there before transferring to ASU. Now I am a third year medical student here at UCLA, which doesn't leave me a lot of time to play OOTP unfortunately.
I've always been more fascinated with the art of pitching in baseball, as opposed to the art of hitting, so it is a treat to have Mr. Schilling participating in this forum. A few of questions, if you have the time:

How about we treat Curt as just another OOTP player instead of acting like fanboys? He sure didn't come here to get interviewed.

I'm not acting like a fanboy at all (unless mentioning that we share the same Alma matter is being a fanboy)? He happens to have real life experience pitching at the major league level and I'm curious about his opinion since I've always enjoyed the pitching part of the game. Here's a thought, how about you let Mr. Schilling decide if he wants to answer the questions or not. If he ignores the questions then I'm certainly not going to badger him. It's really not your concern.

Why do you think that the other famous people who post here all post here anonymously? (Even Tango Tiger is an alias.) Bingo.

Do you do anything here other than constantly tell everyone else how to post? It's endless!
