I am having trouble with player photos in OOTP 8. Every once in a while, my computer will shut down the game prematurely in the middle of saving my progress and shut the program down. When I reload the game, some of my pictures will be overwritten by the facegen. So I have a few questions:

1. If I insert player photos into the proper saved game file, is there any way to get the game to update them automatically, or do I have to freeze the photos?

2. Is there any way to avoid the problem of having the game lose my photos? It is pretty ridiculous to have six years of almanacs with the player looking one way, only to have the player look like a completely different person in the seventh year.

3. Is there any way to solve all of this hassle some other way? It is getting pretty frustrating to be forced to periodically transfer photo files from one file to another and then to manually freeze them from inside the game.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Cool. I can just overwrite all of them in the facegen files, correct?

Also, I see you have a logo and uniform set. Is there a way to change this mid-season or would I have to start a season all over again to use them? Does it have the Lake Buena Vista Braves, by any chance? Thanks.

just some advice, if you are getting player pictures in the future, try not to use the "team photo day" type photos because they usually have shadows and lights which makes the facegens come out very weird. for the wilson and peguero photos, you can find the same photos on espn but the shadows and lighting is all edited.

Other than that, great job!

For the 4 I did I typed their name into google images and grabbed the 1st pic that showed up that i could work with, but i do agree with ya.

I belive someone toldd you before that Lake Buena Vista uses teh same exact uniform that Atlanta Braves use. I have 4 different sets of minor league caps/uniforms/logo's that I have downloaded before. LBV Braves are not in any of the sets...here's what comes up when I google images LBV braves.

Also LBV is shown as the Braves Spring Training site and isnt listed on teh braves minor league affiliates....just trying to be helpful here.
