I also downloaded the Logos/Facepack, but I can't find a place to extract that to either.
I'm dumb, problem fixed.

Problem with the game, unfixable at this point unfortunately.
So there's no way to delete those guys? Wish there was some way to chop off like half the list and the top 5 or 10% as like mattdi said there's a lot of Super Coaches and Managers. It's tempting to hire them and fire the current ones, but that's not too realistic for me.

When I click on him it says he's part of Boston's AAA team as the manager and I can't edit him. Any ideas?
The other thing I noticed last night was there was personnel (doctors specifically) available for hire that were already on teams. A lot of them actually. If you don't see this or any of the other things I've talked about, do you need screen shots?

Question, are you going to adjust average salaries for the next release? I've noticed a problem when teams don't have enough money to sign free agents, thus there are several free agents who remain on the market well into the season. Small thing, I don't know what you would adjust the salaries to.

I am interested in starting a 2008 league with the Cubby roster set, but am also unsure bout the financials. How much cash shud each team have,Many in the set have no cash. Whats a good compromise, I don't want so much that salaries go even crazier.how bout cash max, how high to set that?

Hint if you unretire like the third Dontrelle Willis,Fausto Carmona and so on they will sign with a MLB team like the Royals and be assigned to it's Rookie Ball because that what happened in my league.

Cubby, where you at on updating roster moves? Will there be an updated set for these? Want to start my realtime 2008 lg on opening day and if you're making the additiions will save me lot of work. Not lazy just no sense duplicating it. Also still questions on money for teams, have arbitrarily added funds to most, all have least 20 mil and not sure if thats right?

Have couple ideas , use only real life injuries, maybe broadcast game of the day for each lg. al, nl.

Hi,

I am a complete newbie (just downloaded OOTP 2008 having never played it before) and am looking to use this roster update to make the game more realistic. Forgive me for a really stupid question, but how do you import these into the game? Is it the way listed in the "great demo" guide in the sticky?

I'm having the same problem. Once I download Cubby's roster set, what is the next step? I've tried saving it into the ootp8 documents "saved game" tab but how do you get it to actually import? Are you supposed to create a fictional league then import this roster set, or create a real MLB season then import this set?

Thanks for any help

If you place the .lg file in your saved games folder inside the OOTP folder (which is in My Documents), you can just load the file once in the game. Hope that helps?
