Assuming I managed all the Steam Workshop hoops correctly, the CUF Pack 2.0 should be up on Steam now. If it doesn't work for you, just DM me and I'll have another go at it.

I noticed the Caleb Ferguson facegen is a smiler. I no longer have access to a PC, so I can't create facegens, but if someone wants to take a shot at Caleb Ferguson, here's a good photo-

Also, prospect Tyler Hill the outfielder (hill--001tyl) has high contact and defensive ratings when you start a standard game in 24. His facegen is a ridiculous smile, which makes sense cuz he's smiling in almost all of the few photos of him online. I did manage to find this one, tho-

Caleb Ferguson
T.J. Hill wanted to get a sense of his first pupil’s arm strength, so he asked him to stand at home plate, take a crow hop and launch a baseball as far as he could down the left-field line. Caleb Ferguson gripped the ball that was handed to him, hopped and chucked it as directed. The ball landed a few feet past the infield dirt. “It looked like a blooper, honestly,” Ferguson said.
This was the summer of 2010. Ferguson would soon begin his freshman year at West Jefferson High in rural Ohio, and he wanted to make the baseball team, at least the junior varsity. He had been so bad at baseball in seventh and eighth grade that he rode the bench. Hill, a former minor leaguer from the next town who was looking to get into coaching. Ferguson, his father and Hill met at the high school for 45 minutes. Ferguson could throw no harder than 70 or so mph. But his arm action was easy and he stood taller than 6 foot already with a budding body. Hill found it easy to envision what Ferguson could become. “If you stick with baseball,” Hill said after the session, “you’ll get drafted.” Ferguson and his father looked at each other, then at Hill. Nobody spoke for several seconds. “Then we said, ‘You’re insane,’ ” Ferguson said. They decided to trust the man they just met. Ferguson quit football, quit basketball and began regular lessons. His velocity quickly shot into the 80s. Within weeks, Hill had to start bringing a mask and a cup to their sessions. Within months, he asked Ferguson to bring his own catcher. Four years later, the Dodgers proved the coach correct. They selected Ferguson in the 38th round, even though he just had Tommy John surgery and would not be able to pitch for a year. - The Athletic Caleb was on my list as it was. I have a bout 300 current players I'm working through. Been slowed by bronchitis this week though. Ugh. Avoid if you can!

Tyler Hill- OF (signed February 2, 2022)
One of the more intriguing signings was that of Tyler Hill, a former 19th round draft pick by the Boston Red Sox in 2014. At 25-years old, Hill is the youngest signing out of this bunch and could have a lot of room to grow in the organization after being assigned to Double-A Hartford. In his minor league career, Hill has slashed .277/.355/.376 with 20 home runs, 178 RBI, and 99 stolen bases. He has a knack for putting the ball in play and just like Bernard has a lethal weapon in the ability to steal bases. Hill hasn’t played above A-ball however, so starting in Hartford will be a true test for him as Hartford is a notably difficult stop in the organization. He also hasn’t played in affiliated ball since 2019, after the 2020 season was canceled and he elected free agency. He did spend part of the 2019 season, and the 2021 season with the Winnipeg Goldeyes in the American Association independent league. In 134 games he slashed .321/.423/.473 with 10 home runs, 73 RBI, and 36 stolen bases. He also tallied 96 walks to just 70 strikeouts. If can keep that improvement going, he has a chance to make some noise in the Rockies organization. - SB Nation, purplerow.com As requested,

Davis Bradshaw
Bradshaw’s progression through the Marlins system will depend primarily on his plus ability as a runner and his average-to-plus hitting tool. Although we should not expect much pop from Bradshaw’s bat, there may be hidden pull ability revealed as he develops and fills out his frame. Defensively, he has had time across all three outfield positions, but will likely end up as a corner outfield option for the long term.
Player Profile Coming out of high school, there was no question that Bradshaw could make his way around the base paths, but his ability to carry a bat to the next level was in question. Originally drafted by the Brewers (35th round in 2017), Bradshaw decided to attend Meridian Community College instead of signing a pro deal. One year later, the gamble paid off, as he was drafted in the 11th round and signed by the Marlins. In his first year of pro ball, he opened eyes with his speed, but most importantly, with his ability to hit pro pitching. Bradshaw’s performance caught the attention of Baseball America’s J.J. Cooper, who labeled Bradshaw as the “Best Pure Hitter” of Miami’s 2018 MLB Draft class (subscription required). Recall that Connor Scott is a part of this draft class as well, and that alone will tell you all you need to know about Bradshaw and why he is my first option for underrated Marlins prospects. Future Value: 45/50 Bradshaw is on track for an MLB ETA of approximately 2022. At the MLB level, Bradshaw profiles as a potential fourth outfielder, with the possibility of developing into an everyday corner outfielder. If Bradshaw shows that his first-year ability to swing the bat was not a fluke, then you can adjust that ceiling accordingly. Davis Bradshaw: a player you should keep an eye on. - SBNation 2019

Tyler Eckberg
Tyler Eckberg - Tyler just completed his first season with the Miami Marlins organization Double-A, Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Eckberg recorded 60 innings with an ERA of 2.55, 71 strikeouts, ten walks, and seven saves. Before his professional career, Eckberg played Division I College Baseball at Kansas State University. During his collegiate career, Eckberg played as both an infielder and pitcher. As a pitcher, Eckberg had appearances as both a starting and relief pitcher, tallying over 60 games with 129 innings, 130 strikeouts, and 13 saves-ranked 4th overall in Kansas State in May of 2021 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. - gamereadytc.com

Dalvy Rosario
At third base, the Sky Carp will start Dalvy Rosario, a Dominican Republic native who signed with the Marlins one day after his 16th birthday in 2016. He didn’t see his first pro action until two years later. Last season he batted .224 with three homers and 30 RBIs at Jupiter.
“This kid can really be a utility guy because he can play third, second or center field,” Manager, Hernandez, said. “I see him all over the field.” - Beloit Daily News April 2022

Bob Locker
Sidearm extraordinaire, Bob Locker, in his own words:
"If I were to continue over the top not sure if would have made it after college. Didn't have that mid 90's fastball and when I did throw hard it was flat. Even with high 90's if it is flat pro hitters can time that up easily and take it a long ways. With hitters swinging on a level plane with your sinking movement it's gonna be a ground ball. I don't think I 've ever seen someone hit a home run by hitting the top half of the baseball....I was traded to the A's because the hitters on the team had told their manager they hated facing me." - sidearmnation.com I touched up the one in the CUF pack as it was in pretty good shape. That's the White Sox version and the locker001rob file attached. The later version (Oakland/Cubs) of Locker is the locker001robm file. Note the "m" at the end. If you have both in your fg_files folder, just go to the Player Editor and add an "m" to his Historical Minors ID to give him the 'stache.

Brandon Eisert
I'm always looking for a facegen to improve. Got a DM about Brandon Eisert. Yup, he needed a new one. As you all know by now, I like to include a brief, random, write-up of the players I do. I could include quotes from his college teammates like Adley Rutschman or how his coach called him "The Silent Assassin" because he didn't talk much but dominated on the mound. But today, I'll let Brandon speak for Brandon. From his very humble Linkedin profile:
My name is Brandon Eisert and I am a Business Marketing major. I am currently part of the Toronto Blue Jays Organization. I played for the Oregon State baseball team from 2017-2019. I love sports and hope to have a career around it in the future. Sports Marketing for a company would be a goal of mine and career path I would like to pursue. Dude, I am but a lowly facegen maker, but I hope you make it in the bigs... Redid the facegen by request.
