Sweet, so if there isn't any doubles we might be able to get season 4 started next week. Now, I have to conjure up some good luck so that the guys I want get cut from their teams.

Expansion Roster news....................

Three of the four teams had some duplications. Good news, it only involves three fighters.

One expansion team roster has been accepted and made official. Here it is with their new team name. GForce wanted to change his team name so there wouldn't be 2 Haymaker teams in the league.

Thanks...my squad lacks true knockout power, which will likely hurt me. I really tried to get guys who could control the pace and land frequently. But it'll take a lot of decisions for me to do well, I think. We'll see.

Welcome to the league, and to my division. Not a surprise that you didn't allot many points to light heavy seeing as Moore and Foster are both in this division. You're opting for a different draft philosphy than mine. When I came in as an expansion team I figured I'd only have a puncher's chance so I looked for more pop, but Ice Tea has proven that control is important to success. You may need to be patient, especially given the lack of power. You'll get a lot of lumps the first time out.

Then there is tosti's Crusaders who I believe has his orginal lineup and they are mostly prime now. He has bypassed the draft the last few years.

He'll be tough to beat until all his guys go post-prime in a span of 4 or 5 fights LOL

There is no substitute for experience

Actually I'll be interested to see how the post primers perform, will the 10's perform like 7's etc.

I've not really run any 'decent' fighters in my uni past prime yet.

Thanks. I think I got some guys who will pay off well down the line, but looking at all these rosters with guys in their primes or near prime, I've just got a tough road ahead for the first season at least. I grabbed a few pre-prime guys just because there wasn't anybody with those ratings who I thought would turn out so much better down the line. So we'll see what happens. If I can win 30% my first year I'll be quite pleased I think.

Hey, look another top notch Middleweight that division gets more and more stacked with every new team. While I haven't really checked out your team in depth I like what I see. Both IceTea and Tosti have proven that you can win it all with the CF and Acc route so once your guys age you should be fine, truth be told I would probably go that route now if I had to start my team all over. With that many beginners I wouldn't expect to do to well at first actually expect to get completely out of the building against some of the better teams but on the other hand your team will be hitting it's stride as the top dogs are going downhill so that works in your favor. Anyway, welcome to the league and good luck.

Welcome abooard Tommy

(9)Yuri Arbachakov 0-0-0 (0) *beginning

Good choice. When I was planning for my team I reduced my two nines to a choice between BW's Becerra and Pimental and WW Cuevas, and fly Arbachakov. Went with Becerra because two bantams were in my final group.
Arbachakov and Cuevas was pretty much a coin toss.

You suck, Vistaman when I try to get Espana you're like oh no I can't trade him he's one of my favorites and then you turn around and trade him to my division rival. The Muckboys are gonna to pound y'all when we meet in the regular season as revenge. For real though that is a solid trade for both teams as Vista gets to the cap and picks up a talented fighter in Sammy and Dave gets one of the tougher 5s around and a quality FW.

Also, Welcome to the UTBA Tommy and good luck.

This move was part of team restructuring (plan B) after SAL scooped up Alphonse Halimi a pick before me in the draft. I'm still sore about that one, so I figured I might as well turn over my whole roster.

I've still got a few things up my sleeve yet...

Yeah, I know, Romy. I feel bad about that, but I've decided to be "ruthless" when it comes to these guys from here on out. I'm sick of underperforming and finishing third in my division every year. I think Espana's outlived his usefulness and won't be thatmuch help to Dave. He's been KO'd more than anybody else in the league ...

Anyway, sorry. The favorite boxer policy is hereby over for the Barbaraians!
