Otis Garber already got traded to Elnora. He wasn’t going to play this year anyway because he needs time to develop, but I can reassign him to Houston. How can I protect him so that he doesn’t get traded again?

Trade him back, and add the appropriate amount of service time, if you like. Perhaps send off one or more of the players likely ahead of him on Houston to Elnora, especially where the Elnora team most likely needs more help, I think. If you do so well enough, perhaps Houston won't trade him again so quickly. At least, I think that's what you should do, anyway. What were/are his statistics for 1904 as of now, by any chance? Just wondering, that's all. CD out.

Of course, you could also perhaps disable AI trading for a while, I think, which might help you keep certain players on certain teams easier and all, as well. Just so you know this here well enough, jg2977. CD out.

P.S. I would suggest that after this season's MLB and IPA awards are announced, you make it so that the service time isn't reset when players change leagues, so that we can better tell just how long certain players have played in their careers, as well. It might also make certain things easier when it comes to the Hall of Fame ballots for either league, if you do so, I think. CD out.

Otis has not played this year. His ratings aren't good enough to get onto the active roster.

After this season's awards are announced in both leagues, I'll gladly try and walk you through certain things, including how to make sure that, from now on, people's service time is not lost when players switch leagues. Okay, jg2977? I don't plan to propose new players for 1905, in truth, either. Let's let 1905 be the last season in the IPA, at least, where players older than 45 are eligible for team rosters, I think, too. Whether or not you eventually decide to create a league or leagues for older players, of course, for your dynasty here.

If and when you might eventually start to add more teams to MLB past 32 teams, we may have to have divisions for it here, I think. You don't plan to have expansion for the IPA in this version of the dynasty, do you, like you did in the first version of it? Just wondering and all, you know. CD out.

63 was already taken, but 62 or 64 were available, so I chose 62.

Otis should actually be listed as being 6'2" and 215 pounds, by the way. You apparently may have created him as both being too short and too light here, by complete accident, and I really wonder if that's just why the AI sent him off to Elnora until you put him back on Houston's roster somehow. Let's see if you ultimately adjusting those details actually makes it much easier somehow for him to stick on Houston in the future.

As for Duncan James Freeman, AKA D.J. or Grease Monkey King, he should most ideally be listed now as being at 6'0" and 170 pounds while still present in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, it seems. Just so you know this here well enough for sure, as well. Did he manage to see any action in 1904 for the Cardinals, by any chance? If so, I'd like to see what he did for them here, et cetera, of course, please. CD out.

Also, Otis Garber definitely needs to be a switch-hitting and left-handed thrower, and you have him currently set as a total right-handed hitter and thrower. Maybe if you change those details as well, that might help him get more playing time with Houston here too. Just a thought or two here, you see. CD out.
