Frank Pears 1889

Here's another option for Pears, pictured while a member of the 1891 Kansas City Blues. The previous image of him was post-retirement as an umpire. Also note that the Baseball-Reference image does NOT depict Pears.

George Seward 1875 MISSING PLAYER

Pictured in the team photo for the 1875 St. Louis Brown Stockings. ID confirmed in the July 25, 1922 St. Louis Star and Times who re-printed the image and had access to the roster key.

This also confirms the ID of Tom P. Miller, posted a few months ago.

Johnny Mitchell 1921

Fulfilling a request DeweyintheHall made here several years ago, here is Mitchell with the Red Sox circa 1922.

William Hyndman 1886

Here's a clearer option for 1 game major leaguer Hyndman, also pictured with the 1883 Lancaster Ironsides.

John Hofford 1885

The Facepack and Baseball-Reference image does NOT depict John Hofford, but rather minor leaguer Chick Hofford. To the best of my knowledge, we did not have an image of Hofford who pitched briefly for Pittsburgh in 1885 and 1886. This pictures him as the star pitcher for the 1883 Lancaster Ironsides.

Tom Doran 1904

Think this is the first time a photo has been posted on this thread showing Doran in a Tigers uniform. The photo comes from the Facebook page of Jay Gauthreaux.

Thank you, cinemaodyssey, for all the recent finds you have been posting.

That Fahey shot is infinitely better than what I had on file. Thanks for sharing!

Fred Beck or Not Fred Beck 1909

Tnfoto posted an image (left) that is identified as Fred Beck from the 1914 Chicago Federals team photo. On the right is Beck in early May 1914 and I see lots of differences between the two. Note the Baseball-Reference image also does not depict Beck.

Fred Beck

two images from the Explore Chicago Collections

"TITLE Baseball player, Beck, Whales, following through after throwing a baseball on the field at Weeghman Park.
DATES 1914."

"TITLE Baseball player, Fred Beck, Chicago Whales, posing in catching stance by a racetrack fence.
DATES 1914."

they look like two different people to me, the first image resembles your second pic to my eye, as does the attached tobacco card scan-

Baseball-Reference.com shows this as an image of Doc Watson, who was traded to the St. Louis Terriers later in 1914 and appears in the 1915 group photo, second from the left in the top row. Edited to add: the same image of him in the Chi-Feds uniform is used in his SABR biography: https://sabr.org/bioproj/person/doc-watson/

I think we can safely conclude that Beck was not the man pictured on the left in my initial post. Thanks for the confirmations! I like this guy on the bottom row, third from the left as Beck. Ears and nose match up very well especially to the photo posted above.
