Overall, I'm not a fan of Marvel MLB logos... a little too extreme in general for an old traditionalist like me.
But, hey... beauty is in the eye of the beholder... to each his own... we all have different tastes in art, music and movies... and baseball logos and uniforms.

"Yard goats" is rail-yard slang for the switch engines or terminal tractors that shuttle train cars between different locomotives. The stadium is adjacent to Hartford Yard.

I have various sketches, at least, of various areas of Slaabovia made over the years on paper, but I've unfortunately not been able to take pictures of them and put them on my computers, EC. Which has probably not helped here to at least some degree here, of course.

I've posted rudimentary maps before of Prokiru and Jatrela, at least, if not other nations of mine as well, but I'm still not that good at such things, even in MS Paint, for sure. I also posted a rudimentary map of Slaabovia in another one of my threads, but no cities and other things were present on said map, if I remember correctly enough here.

Slaabovia's total territory is about a million square miles in size, which would put it roughly around the size of Argentina, I think, and its main mass would roughly be centered at 30 degrees North Latitude and 46 degrees West Longitude, for that would be where Lima is on it. CD, in my story, is from somewhere in or around Lima in that nation, actually. I've periodically put other details related to Slaabovia in certain threads of mine here on the forums as well, of course.

I'd estimate that from east to west and from north to south, Slaabovia would be about 1000 or so miles long and about 1000 or so miles wide, with somewhere between 60-80 percent of its territory being present for its main landmass, more or less. I'm not sure exactly where its other associated nations would be in relation to it, at the moment, though, to be honest, EC.

I'll try and find the necessary links to the related threads later, where you might then be able to see the applicable information and/or pictures, as soon as I can and all. Thank you very much for offering to try and help me out here, as best as you possibly can here, in any case. CD, please keep it simple... just answer my questions... don't give me all those details that I don't need... I don't latitude and longitude... the size of the country... population... all is need is the major towns, bays, rivers mountains, harbors, seas and oceans.

Please just go through this and answer my questions in simple terms... don't make this so complex.

#1: Do you like my maps?
They are simple with no great details... personally I think they are too simple for you... your leagues and maps are very complex and too cluttered for me... I just like the basics.

Be honest... do you like my maps?... no problem if you don't... we will still be friends.

If a map would get you to finish this darn book... just teasing... let me rephrase that... if a map would get you to finish your novel, I would be willing to do it... but it will be plain and simple and only show major towns, rivers, seas, harbors and mountains... nothing fancy.

It will not be complex and complicated like the maps that you want.

I'd need at least a basic and somewhat realistic-looking largely-blank outline map, possibly with various borders as appropriate, I think. The southernmost island in Follisland should be about 28 or so miles away from the nearest shores of the nearest island in Wellnitzalgo, too, on the overall national map, come to think of it.

If I had at least a halfway decent outline map as described, either here or in the related thread, then I could probably fill in various locations for the nation in question, if they weren't already filled in on the map, as time permitted and all, easily enough. If not other types of maps as well. Unfortunately, I don't currently have any map-making software that I could create good enough maps with, I think. Maybe by my birthday, I'll actually be able to get some, but right now, I honestly don't have such available to me here. CD out.

Yes, your maps are good, and they serve your purposes well, for sure. I like them, actually, because they work well with your relevant dynasties. However, I'd honestly not mind seeing at least a bit more definition for at least a few of them, if possible, meaning more definition in the various areas in and around your main locations, so that I could better imagine what the areas around your various islands were actually like, you see. Especially in terms of special locations to see and all in them, for instance. Just so you know, EC. CD out.

I like maps the way that EC likes 'em. Just show the major cities and basic surrounding geography such as mountains, large lakes, and rivers. That's it. Adding more to them would just make it cluttered and difficult to read. Less is more. I don't need to know every small town in the vicinity of a major city.

If I had at least one basic outline map, if not more than one map of any possible kind here, with or without the applicable state and/or territorial borders, that was at least somewhat realistic-looking. more or less, it'd certainly help, I think, EC. Especially if it was or they were each of sufficient enough size that I could then hopefully better fill in the places for it or them that weren't somehow already on the relevant map or maps here, of course. At least 80 percent of Slaabovia's territory, though, would likely be land-based territory, however, just so you know, with most of the water-based territory being between its various landforms and all, in truth. As for the oceans then present around Slaabovia, the only ocean around it here would then be the Atlantic Ocean, most definitely. CD out.

Let me look at what I have on paper for rough maps, and on my computer for related files, and get back to you two here as soon as I can. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a sufficiently functional tablet at the moment, so I can't exactly show you both just what I have on paper now. I'll probably have to scrounge up the relevant details and all, if they've not yet been posted here, as well, and post them here. In any case, I'd still envision Slaabovia to be just about the size of Argentina, and right in the middle of the North Atlantic about where the Sargasso Sea might be in it now for our real world. CD, I think it is best that you do your own map... that way you get it done the way you want it.

You want a complex map with all kinds of complicated features... that is fine... but I think you will have to create it.

I've just begun work on some potential items for the Mora Mustangs and Aitkin Gobblers high school teams from certain places in Minnesota now. But what I'll likely post for them and/or other high schools' teams later here still may not match their real-world items very closely at all, if at all, I think. I'll certainly try to get just as close as I possibly can to what they might each wear in reality, for sure. But I really don't think I'll be able to replicate all their items perfectly here, unfortunately, in any case. CD out.

Personally I would have preferred something related directly to the railroad industry history in Hartford... or maritime industy like the Hartford Whalers.

I once had a logo in my State Line League dynasty created in 2015... a semi-pro league in Northwest Alabama and Northeast Mississippi... the Decatur Locos... the town was a railroad town... Honorable Pawn did it for me.

The logo was a crazed-looking locomotive.

So it had a double meaning... loco = crazy.... locomotive = engine.

As you know me, I would have preferred something more traditional... but I used it... it really was creative and appropriate for the town.

I think Decatur has a Locos team in at least one of my dynasties, but not sure, if you're talking about the Decatur in Illinois, EC. I'd have to check them later on, at some point, to be sure, I believe, though. Just so you know. CD out.

Yes, some of those logos I don't like much, and they could certainly have been done better for the relevant teams, I think. I liked the Tortugas one a good deal, to be honest, though, among others. For those I didn't list in my listings seen earlier in this thread for the best ones or the worst ones, I think most of them were probably low B to high C-level work, if one would use the usual academic grading scales many schools often do in North America. The top ten would definitely be in the A-range, grades-wise, though, in my proverbial book, I'd have to say here. CD out.

And here are four found and/or modified logos for Mora's Mustangs and Aitkin's Gobblers from two different Minnesota locations. Although it was a bit tricky working with them here, perhaps, at times. Mora is north of the Twin Cities somewhere near Lake Mille Lacs, and almost due south of it, while Aitkin is a bit north of Lake Mille Lacs. Just so you know, folks.

I tried to make them all as transparent as possible here, where then necessary and all, too, for that matter, at least for Aitkin, if not for Mora as well, in truth. If I wasn't actually able to do so well enough here with at least one of them, though, I'm sorry for that, of course. But please try to remember that I'm not necessarily all that good at working with many or most relevant logos for teams and/or leagues just yet, whether original or not, as might be required at times for me here. HOW ABOUT THAT!... CD made some jerseys and logos that EC actually likes... they are not done in a weird and unique style... with too many colors that don't coordinate well together (EC's opinion, of course)

Well done, my friend... these are done pretty much in a traditional style... the colors are well-coordinated.

CD, don't ever say you can't make logos... these are excellent logos.

CD, you have the skills to make your own graphics... you don't need anyone to do graphics for you.
