Retro Style Logos and Uniforms

Tx- These are all so awesome! Thanks so much! I love the Birmingham Giants logo/jersey/cap the most for some reason! The colors were perfect and the cap and jersey were so detailed! Those that use this forum are Blessed to have your talents and assist us in making our dream leagues!

Looks pretty good in the game on the home screen... Couple of suggestions you might try and see if you like the results...

1. Apply an additional outer stroke in black... IMO most of the logos (not all of them) look better with a darker outer stroke... I guess this will depend on the background color in the game itself though...
2. Try increasing the font size slightly on city name, seems like a too much blank area around the name to me...
3. Try increasing the width of your grey band that splits the logo and increase the height of the team name...
4. Once again I second Jabez's motion of lightening the shade of grey... Some of the pages in the game the contrast is not as defining as maybe it could be...

These are only suggestions for your consideration... You work is clear and crisp and the logo looks good as it is now... Just a few ideas you might try and see if they give you any better results... Keep'em coming amigo...

Last week while I was watching the Mets game, I noticed their negro league throwbacks had a familiar looking patch on the sleeve.

I may have missed a previous mention of it in this thread but I thought it was really neat.

My guess is someone somewhere googled Brooklyn Royal Giants and saw that your logo looked so much better than the actual one and slapped it on the uniform.

I would hope someone had asked permission, but either way it's a very awesome thing.

Do you have uniforms for them? mostly just interested to see what they look like, if you have not made any, I am not asking that you do so.

I do not have any uniforms. I have not done any uniform designs but I imagine it'd be a lot easier than designing logos for the simple reason being it's mostly just text.

If you're making a league involving a Las Vegas team that just so happens to be the Black Sox I would update and improve the logo along with design a uniform...

I can't take credit for the graphics in the logo... I found it in a search... Thought it looked appropriate for the era and just added the script to it... I also found an additional photo of what may be a road jersey... Not sure about the colors so I went with the colors in the artwork... Can't go wrong with the old Red, White and Blue...
