Just an FYI, the loading screen tip about Fred Chapman being the youngest major leaguer debuting at 14 is no longer accurate, as research shows he was Frank Chapman and born 11 years earlier. I fixed his name and birth date in my uploads, but this tip will also need to be deleted?

Or better yet, replaced with the fact that Joe Nuxhall is the youngest, debuting at 15 years, 316 days old.

Negro Leaguer Maurice Young (young-000mau) imports with no place of birth, and a birthdate that's off by a year. Per Baseball-Reference, his birthplace should be Wetumpka, AL, and his DOB should be a year earlier (1904-11-29). Real stats also appear to be missing a couple of games (e.g., he has 9 games instead of 11, 50 IP instead of 65, etc.), although I recognize that NeL records are pretty much constantly in flux.

Now this one was hard! First, I went through and made sure that only players whose (correct) birth places are currently in the game via world explorer are listed. Then you've got issues with those neighborhoods in big cities like Flushing in New York or Van Neys in Los Angeles--sometime the player already had it listed as their birth city, and it's not wrong, it's just that the game doesn't recognize these neighborhoods as independent entities (not to mention some older players who were born in Flushing or Astoria when they actually were independent cities!). And some states have local governments that are weird to someone not used to them. For example, the Village of Adams, New York, is within the Town of Adams, New York. The Village of Albion is only mostly in the Town of Albion. Then you've got the fact the game (at least, in 24) doesn't recognize the "state" category, so if a player is from a Springfield, he's effectively from whatever Springfield the game feels like showing this save.
But here you are: 2800 players with corrected or filled out birth cities!

Thanks! As I am going through the other info you gave (like a year of birth or esp. nationalities) I correct everything else on that record while it open. So, I manually check anything like that as well. There are come cities that just need to be added and I note those. There are others where it is a county or an unincorporated town in 60 people (still!) and I will put a google maps pin on the ground and see what town the post office calls it. Or use the city that annexed it 60 years ago. So those look like mismatches but a correct as they are going to be. I have a spreadsheet tracking those "correct but incorrect" ones.

Also, not sure where to put these:
If nushike41 is Kenso Nushida (minors ID nushid001ken, OOTP playerid 217484), his ethnicity should be Asian, not Caucasian--he was the first Asian-American to play professional baseball in the US back in 1932.
I'm pretty sure klaxtji41 (minors ID klaxto001jam, OOTP playerid 194898) is a duplicate of Jimmy Claxton claxtji01 (minors ID claxto000jim, OOTP playerid 154954).
Henry Zeiher (zeihehe01) played 6 games for the 1886 Washington Nationals but is not in game because those games were long credited to Ed Whiting (whitied01). I just checked in my game and Ed Whiting still has those 6 games in his career stats.

And this isn't an error but something awesome I found: Johnny Hopp (hoppjo01) had a brother, Henry, who played in the NFL and was nicknamed "Hippity". :P

Took care of Kenso Nushida and deleted his fake -041 ID. I'd caught Jimmy Claxton on a separate audit I'd started to clean out all the -041's but it was only a week or so ago as I still remember him in the particular. Henry was fixed at the end of June but maybe a new database load is required to see it (or a new game to reload the db).

Ah, that explains why some records that I go into are already corrected. (A good thing, not a bad one from my perspective - just means I move to the next one on the list faster.). When I get all of this done by mid-March you should get 26.

Percy Coleman have a missing game in 1897... he should have 5 game started not 4. His real fielding is correct but he also have a missing game in his real batting stat.

It looked to me like someone found a box score and some additional data points got filled in to add a game's worth of stats. I redid his 1897 to align with BBR.

If you start a new game in 2019, the Rocket City Trash Pandas show as an unnamed team with no affiliation & no players. But they are still part of the Southern League and part of the schedule and show up as a blank vs or @ on other team schedules

I have found another issue with a NeL player: Howard Ross (ross--000har / rossho01). Pretty much all of the info for him in the database does not match his Baseball Reference page, including name, date and place of birth, and stats. His 1924, '25, and '27 stats look fine, but he's missing 1926, and his 1922 stats appear to belong to someone else (perhaps William Ross, ross--001dic / rosswi01?).

Not the biggest deal but... in 1899 Rudy Hulswitt played one game for Louisville (6 innings at shortstop), his fielding real stats are correct but his batting line isn't. There is nothing but it should be 1 game played and 1 plate appearance (he hit in a double play I guess since he has no AB but also no BB).

Right! A double play would have count as an AB... BTW in his only game in my simulation that I watch as computer against computer game since I have to replaced him after six innings he got a BB in his only plate appearance (now that would have been cool if it would have been a sacrifice).
