  Mesa Gets ...  The only thing that bothers me is the Avoid K's .... playoff time that could be an issue. Lexington Gets ...   If the Owner goals features was not turned on, there's no way I make this trade. But, since it is ... I'm trying to "play the game". Vliet allows me to put him in LF, return Antonio Martinez back to his natural position in RF, and then move Emmanuel Reyes to 2B (formerly starting SS, then RF). This could/should meet 2 owner goals ... 1. Increase fan excitement (or whatever its called) 2. Improve 2B (Reyes improvement over Pina) Last edited by circlechange11; 01-18-2024 at 06:21 PM. |

 With Reyes returning to 2B, and JMartinez able to backup 2B, Pina becomes expendable and trading him frees up around 10M. I just "shopped a player" and took the best option.  Mesa Gets ...  San Diego Gets ...

  The offense is performing well, but being 17th in runs allowed is a great concern. The SP ratings are the same as last year, and the team defense is the same at most positions, and improved at the ones that are different. Catching ability is 70, up from 60 last year ... but that doesn't seem to make a difference at all.  None of this is good. |

    Growing concerns in Mesa. Gotta remind myself that we're only 5 GB, but this is heading in the direction of a relative disaster compared to recent past. Team is underperforming as compared to the Pythag expectations. Hopefully just some situational bad luck. |
