I am not sure what you're missing, but there are uncapped quick live tournaments available.

I'm noticing two balancing issues, one just a matter of preference, the other perhaps something that could use a tweak?
I really enjoy the capped tournaments, but find the lack of lower caps (1500 or below) disappointing. I liked those because it offered a good balance between a few good cards and hunting for good value among the rest. The higher caps pushes me back into the groups dominated by elite cards. A 100 rated card costs 60 points above the base roster cost - that means an 1875 cap allows you to field over a dozen perfect cards. Enough for a full rotation and most of a lineup! A team built like that can, and does, steamroll the competition. I don't mind those existing - keep them by all means! I would just like to see the 1500 cap as an option in the quick tournaments as well. The second (but semi-related) issue I've noticed is that fatigue seems to be much less of a factor. I ran across a team that literally could not field a full lineup of position players (running a random starting pitcher in LF every game) and had only two arms in the bullpen. Fatigue over a seven game series was a non-issue for them, and it did manage to run the series out to the full seven games. Admittedly, this was at bronze level, so a lot of those series are a crapshoot, but I feel like it is a bit thick for a team to not even be able to fill out a lineup and still get by. This also results in the strategic choice of going sans bench, shortened rotation, and minimal bullpen in a capped league, and relying on sweeping every round to get around the fatigue penalties. If that is intended strategy, then so be it, but I liked the strategic dilemma of how to weight the bench and bullpen when fatigue was a bigger factor. |

Can the daily silver tournament be bumped up to 128? Silver seems to be extremely popular and it is very frustrating to wake up at 7 and still not be able to participate in a tournament that doesn't start for another 10 hours.

I am not trying to say that they don't exist. I'm just wondering why they were nerfed so hard compared to last week. If you look at the numbers I'm sure you'll see a huge drop in participation compared to last week, because they are not very attractive now. Background: I'm in a very competitive FTP league. Everyone is trying to make PP off tournaments. Most of the league has flocked to silver card tournaments since you can build a silver roster pretty cheaply and the rewards are good. Some of my league-mates raked in over 20k last week from silver tourneys. If you check the tourney leaderboards and see "BFF" - that's us. And yes I know those were changed as well on Monday, however they are still extremely profitable. 500pp for DoD 8-man (win 3 games) beats live tourneys by double. And since silver cards are so popular overall (since they are so obviously profitable), those tourneys are moving at a blistering pace. So they still are functioning as a cash cow. Anyone with time to enter tourneys all day is raking in dough. All of which I'm totally fine with. All the power to them. But it's pretty disappointing that other possible strategies can't even compete whatsoever. I had taken my team in a different direction than most of the league, and am relying mostly on live cards, so live tourneys seemed like a good fit for me. Even though I earned less than 5k last week (1/4 of my mates) I was still happy with it because I knew I would be improving my roster and getting better over time. Now with Monday's changes, there's no justification for investing in live cards to improve that team, or partake in live tourneys at all. All prizes over 250 were removed or replaced with packs. So silver is strictly 100% better by orders of magnitude. In order to remain competitive, I have no choice but to build a silver team like everyone else. And I don't think that is good for the game. There should be different, viable paths to success. Thanks for listening. |

Is there an arbitrary limit to the number of tournaments that can be displayed on the initial Available Tournaments page? Using default filter settings, I'm unable to view all possible tournaments on the Available Tournaments page.
There are daily & weekly tourneys available that should display further down the bottom in this screenshot but don't. |

Had also noticed this when i got to work and was unable to find the Pedro Tourney which i saw was availible before i left. If you filter just capped tourneys it shows up, but with nothing filtered there are too many tourneys and it wont show up even if you scroll all the way down to the bottom. I'm still missing a tournament entry somehow (limited to 2).

I have a little concern with weekly tournaments. In particular the Tuesday Super Non-Live. It is set for 128 teams and we had 107/128 when the timer expired. I thought it was supposed to be pushed back an hour (or something like that), but now the start time is pushed back 24 hrs. The problem with this is that a lot of people are at work and probably couldn't join it. When a weekly tournament doesn't fill in time, is there anyway to have it turn into a "quick" tournament and start once it fills? 21 away from filling a 128 isn't much (probably would fill in another hour or so), but now we have to wait 24 hrs. Any thoughts?

Entered the Daily Gold tournament, submitted my roster several times after making changes and then it started and my roster is different. sucks that this only seems to happen when i join daily/weekly which are the important ones.

This also seems like a good potential solution. Either approach (starting once full or starting on time with byes) is vastly superior to pushing 24 hours.

Tournaments feedback & bug reports go here!
Please allow us to join daily/weekly tournaments separate from the regular max3.
I really don’t want to waste my spots and then have just one one or no tournament spot for everything else. As a result of people not reserving a spot in daily/weekly, the counters don’t go up to a point where people would also join.

You can also tell that activity in other tournaments is slow tonight because so many people are stuck waiting for the Pedro tournament

The presentation of interesting choices isn't limited to team building and roster creation. Choosing which tournaments to join and when to join them should also be an interesting choice. People want to play this game. Allowing more tournaments beyond the standard 3 may make sense, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking that we'd all suddenly be satisfied if only we could join that 4th tournament.
