Aaaaand another minor league team with a unique name goes the generic route. Seriously, what is this trend? It sucks, in my opinion. And weirdly, it seems to go against the "merchandise the hell out of everything" ethic that the minors (and majors) have operated on for years now. Granted, that part doesn't bother me so much, but still, it seems odd.

Yeah...my vision is getting really bad...just now noticed the "i" in the MiLB title. I probably knew that before but had forgotten. Glaucoma sucks.

It is defintely unoriginal but at least South Bend did a decent job on their branding. Besides, Daytona didn't go with Daytona Reds (which was being considered) so I'd call that a win

While not at all a fan of the name change, I do actually like the new South Bend Cubs main logo. It kind of hearkens back to Studebaker, which is what Silver Hawks was all about.

The Dodgers and Cardinals have a fairly strong fan base in the OKC area
The Cards because of radio from the 30's on and the Dodgers because they used to have a farm presence in Northern OK in the 40's and 50's. The funny thing is a local OKC radio station had a name changing contest, wich just resulted in scrapping that and the team being called the Dodgers anyway.

I think the name is appropriate but the uniforms are ugly.

The away is not the true wordmark. I will correct it when I have a better rip of the actual jersey wordmark, for now, this will have to suffice.
