Here is an issue I stumbled upon. On this news screen it indicates the player is a catcher...if you open his player profile, he is listed as a SS. He really is a SS, so somehow the news article is getting something wrong.

Just after the 2013 All-Star break, I found out that I had no owner. I am playing as the A's and had an owner at the start of the 2012 season and the start of the 2013 season.

I am unable to change the MLB League Logo for the MLB Quickstart. I click Load and select a file (I tried both a PNG and a JPG file) and click OK but it doesn't change.

Thanks for the clarification on the draft picks. I have found a bug in the trades, I have the trade AI set on Very Hard. I went to Shop a player and shopped Kyle Weilland 20 overall, 21 potential and one of the trades it came up with was for Hanley Ramirez (71/71), another was Paul Goldschmidt (51/51), Nick Swisher (46/46), and another was Mike Nappoli (60/60). It seems that the AI is overvaluing starting pitchers way too much as I got a good deal for AJ Happ also.

The regular trade AI, when you don't shop, works pretty good, better than version 12, it just that it seems that Starting Pitchers are valued too much. Love the game, great job.

Has anyone else noticed this? Every 10th time or so I click on the Financials screen, the ticket price goes from what I had in there previously ($25.00) to a blank. I'll hit the Financials button again or go back and forth between another screen and Financials, and the ticket price goes from blank to $0.00. Obviously, this could pose some money problems if you go a few home games without noticing you aren't charging anything for tickets!

I apologize if this has already been discussed...

This one is a tiny one. The "action" box on column 1 has a button labeled "action" in which it appears that the text is chopped off at the very top and bottums.

Although I didn't test it I would imagine the same thing would appear in player #2's column.

Clicking on a "hyperlink" that doesn't go anywhere results in a crash. Ex..some one edited a foreign team into a players history (which the game doesn't have in it's universe)

I just saw the Reds pinch-hit for starting catcher Ryan Hanigan, batting leadoff, in the first inning (first at-bat of the game). It didn't say he was injured in the top half of the inning either, so I'm not sure why it happened.

My second round draft choice had a slot bonus of -210,000, all the other slot bonus' were correct and this is the first time I saw this bug. It would not let you offer -210,000 for the signing bonus.

I found one yesterday.

If you don't have enough disk space to save the game, the game crashes. This could be fixed by putting in an error message.

I went into the recently retired report and clicked on Jason Kendall. Jason was once with the Pirates, but retired with Detroit in my league. However, went into his player card and Jason was wearing a Pirate hat. Should have been Detroit. I checked the news and everything and he did not re-sign with the Pirates before retiring.

This is coming from my brother, so any reply I get will take time to generate an answer.

1. He imported his OOTP12 game.
2. Everything worked.
3. THEN...
4. He changed a MINOR LEAGUE team locale and nickname and the game crashed and gave him a database error.
5. He could not exit the game either. He got a similar message, but I have no idea what it was. I could find out.
6. He tried to re-import the game and start from scratch, but could not.

He's going back to version 12.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not a bug. It was changed for OOTP11 or 12, I believe.

Most likely just another early-release crash. We've had a lot of those.

when i enter my license key for ootp 13 press OK, the game freezes there and never accepts the license key or goes to a different screen. if i exit the game and try again, the same thing keeps happening. no matter how long i let it sit, it stays frozen

This is a great feature, not a bug. Just like real life, the player retires now with the team they did their best with. I think you'll find Kendall had his best years with Pittsburgh. This way if the player goes into the HOF, he will automatically be wearing te team that he had the most success with. Not the team he signed with for 1 year at the end of his career.

Thanks for the clarification...never knew it was actually a feature. I would agree, his best years were with the Pirates, so looks good. Another nice little feature.

Player picture is showing the picture of the previous guy I looked at, and then when I chose Pictures --> Same Picture to try and get it to re-load, it just cut off part of his head. Same Picture and New Picture action don't do anything to change it.

This is only happening on the one player. When I click on other players they are fine, but every time I go to Braden, he looks like this.

"And in a related point - not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but I am using a 15" MacBook Pro, with a screen reso of 1680x 1050, and have set the window size to the same, and I have it set for windowed, not full screen, and I have lost the title bar at the top of the window, with no way to minimize the game (or simply grab and slide the window about, which is very helpful when multitasking!) Something similar to this happened occasionally for me with OOTP 12. It was a weird black parasite in a player face and like your problem same or new picture did nothing to remove it. What I had to do to remove it was just to import a different .fg files, after everything was back to normal.

Maybe that could work for this too, we never know...
