Impossible to do with the current setup, so its never going to happen.

We did get the 2005/2006 ordering right on the set I'm working on now. But we'll never have 2006 history unless OOTP changes around the way it works things with importing historicals.

Thumbs down Anyone catch this yet?

I've been running tests on the set, for the NABA both for the rosters & other things we're trying. I caught this at the end of the 2007 Season.

As you can see the individual AL leaders in stat categories that are averages or pers based on innings are not registering right. The individual player pages, the overall league stats, & the team by team stats all appear correct. It's just the leaderboards for the AL.

The National League is fine.

Don't know if you were aware of this Cubby. If you were or if someone else already caught it, sorry to be redundant.

I haven't looked at that as I didn't realise it was missing. I can see if I can create these stats for 2006 and stick them in the teams file.

Eddie- that issue has been noted previously. I don't have the game open, but I'm curious what happens if you change, on that screen, the League Scope from 'combined' to 'AL. Does it still say 'Qualified Starting Pitchers' in the 'Players:' tab? Either the AL pitchers are defaulting to 'All Pitchers', or somehow the qualification criteria are messed up (and I don't know how one could change that).

Are you getting data into the game by importing from a lahman-like structure and creating a new universe using historical option? If you import the standard lahman this way, 2006 stats are available.

If it is truly some deficiency in the import process, has Markus been notified about this? Perhaps we could get him to tweak something ina patch to make this work.

The way its set up currently, if you want to import a historical league into an already existing universe, you can't import 2006 stats (there's no option to "keep current year stats" when you do it that way).

redsoxford, let me finish up these coaches/players and I'll send you the file back over, is that okay?

Tried that it's the same all around. It's only affecting AL Individual Leader boards. I would agree that something about the qualification criteria is messed up, because Version 1.1 didn't do this I was able to pull AL ERA Leaders from that set.

Don't kill me if this is a stupid question, but could you try to run the import after the existing universe has been advanced to the beginning of 2007? Would the game then treat 2006 stats as a previous year and not part of the current year?

Unfortunately no -- I think its hard coded into the game that it won't let you import 2007 or higher years.

Yep. I'll have a look over it.

To save me the time, it's just team history for 2006 that is missing?

Yep, when I imported it imported everything up to 2005, nothing after (which is just 2005).

Powder -- I'm going through and re-doing them now, I'll let you guys know how far I get before we release. I'll probably release one tonight however far we are (which will have salaries cut for guys without major league deals, eliminating guys like Hochevar, etc. getting cut, as well as coaches fixed) and then send the file to redsox and get another one out whenever he can check it out.

I dont know if this was answered or not, but whenever I go and turn waivers on, like 5-10 guys from each team get released.

Hey Cubby and all -

One thing that I know works is to edit the stats in the Lahman db import by copying all 2006 stats and pasting them in also as the player's 2007 stats and start a season from 2007.

A few months ago I started working on a CBL roster set for 2007, but a very busy work schedule got in the way and the project was basically scrapped. In fact doing it this way its a very FAST way to rate players for the 2007 season by altering the stat lines before import. I used the PECOTA stat Excel sheet as a base, and imported all of those in to let OOTP rate the players.

For some reason doing this throws off all players age's by one year - they are all one year younger than in real life............very odd.

I'm playing a historical league(1980) and when the leagues are combined in the league leaders it seems to include relievers who have not qualified, but when the leagues are separate it takes them out. Weird.

Alright along with the Japan set, I've imported Foz's College Template, and I'm adding in some stadiums pics now as well.

Should be up late tonight.
