And if so, would you actually let the game do it randomly, choose for players to be imported at their proper times historically, or would there perhaps be some sort of combination of both randomosity and deliberate choice in terms of just which historical players might get in here and when, at that? Would you also perhaps allow movement between overall leagues for players and all? If so, I also would make quite sure here that service time would not be erased for players changing leagues, as well, in either direction, of course, so that your finances for either league don't get too messed up and all, for that matter. Whether by players being traded or changing leagues through free agency and all, at that, for sure. Just so you know, jg2977. CD out.

I'm only using fictional players, so it doesn't really matter. I'm just going to put in the storyline that it is rumored that Babe Ruth is the inventor of the game of baseball in my world.

Okay, then perhaps he could somehow have been born much earlier than he was in reality, somehow, if so, in your baseball world. Or that might then require time travel somehow instead for him and/or certain others in and out of baseball here as well, even though you can't really do that in actual reality, you know. CD out.

I'm going to use a lot of logos and uniforms from the 1980s and 1990s because that's what I grew up watching as a kid. It brings back special memories for me, when baseball was just a game.

I have it set up so that players can be traded between IPA and MLB.

For your created players, if uniform number is already in use by someone else, I'm not going through the trouble of changing it. I'll choose a number that's close to what's desired.

For some reason I can only show Thomas Follis' pitching stats on the card. At bat he had 114 plate appearances, batting .280 with 0 HR, 8 RBI, 1 2B, 1 3B.

He probably only batted when he was pitcher. I wonder why he's not a two-way player. He should be.

When I get to the Association championship series, it's going to be rough for the MLB. And most likely for the next few years. That will be so until all the superstar players retire in the IPA.

Go to player strategy, where needed and appropriate, and then lock the desired player or players to each of their appropriate teams, which should allow them to be two-way players. You've certainly done it before, you know, with certain players. Remember? CD out.

Thomas Webster Follis shouldn't have a nickname either, unless it's T.W. or a sufficiently appropriate one, I think. Maybe you can come up with a suitably good one eventually for him, jg2977. I've definitely seen other non-related Follises in at least one of my games before, so I strongly suspect Follis is one of the available last names for game-created players from the United States, somehow. If you choose to give Thomas Webster Follis a nickname, you can add the Webster part of his name to his official player name here, too, of course. CD out.

For ideas on players' potential nicknames, where none have yet been proposed, I'd perhaps suggest looking at their respective personality types, and how they are listed with their characteristics for them where you'd see various related things in green or other colors. And see how they appear on the team chemistry pages for their respective teams, if possible, as well. Those areas might give you some good ideas for potential nicknames they could use in their careers, for that matter, I think. CD out.

How did the first-generation players I proposed and you added do who are still active as players in this dynasty for 1901's regular season? I see that you are proposing 15-20 players in this second generation. That's fine, and I will put them in the game, but with that many players I won't be able to follow them all that closely. And on top of that there are some of my own players that I want to put in the game next year.
