Lovely work, I dont think I could have dreamed of 6 more even divisions. Has anyone figured out how many seasons we will be able to play with all of these teams(24) with the boxers in the database. I love more teams but I hope we dont have to end the UTBA prematurely

I was just thinking about that myself. Sal should be able to give us an idea of what the situation is. Could be some day we'll have to bring some fictional fighters in.

I think Shane might disagree as he's probably somewhere cussing KC for sticking him with the Beavers. I like the divisions since Dave and I can continue our rivalry for control of the West.

I'm not to worried about the database since we allowed the use of user created fighters. I know Mike and Chris have over 10,000 or so fighters thats alot of guys. Plus, we could always use fictional fighters like KC said.

I like the new divisons as were presented, even though keeping Tomato City in a "West" Division makes me feel like the Arizona Cardinals did for years while part of the NFC East. There's really not much real estate east of New Haven, CT.

As for the fighters, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of fighters that have been created by fellow board members that we can use. As the UTBA grows, we will have to rely more and more on them.

All should be well for a while longer.

We could always put Tomato City in the East and the Kangaroos in the West, I guess.

This is the greatest West division ever. Three of our owners are located in Connecticut, Florida, and New York. I don't know where LL is located. You can't get any more western then that.

Perhaps we could make the divisional setup geographically based, with each conference simply having an east, central and west division. It would also be nice to play each divisonal opponent twice, but that would be difficult in a 10 week season.

I was just kidding. I really don't care what the division is called. They don't have to be geographically correct. I look to many more seasons locking horns w/ the Muckboys as well as Left Jab & Dublin.

No drastic changes need to be made.

Not to mention I say fighters retired for 5 season can be recycled ... never ending supply that way

I've thought the same thing with just one addition HOFers stay retired for good cause once Mickey Walker or Bob Foster is gone I really don't want to have to face them.

Glad to have you in the conference.

Don't sweat IceTea, they are coming back to earth. They only beat the Haymakers by 1 point last year.

Actually my initial plan would put Dublin Guards and Left Jab (not MMS) along with the two expansion teams in the new division in the Gold and the Roughnecks/Punching Bags/expansion teams in the new division in the Silver.

It makes no difference to me in anyway on how we set up the new divisions. I'll let all the owners fight this one out.

The only reason I suggested doing it this way is to give the newer teams a shot at the playoffs this next season. I don't expect one of our current expansion teams to turn it around next season and contend like the bear's did this season. If we mix the new teams in with the top powers in divsions, it will be at least 2 or more seasons before they can challenge.

Let's welcome our 4 new team owners...........

With us using the TBCB I & II database and also the junior/super weight classes, we have an ample supply of fighters for another 6 to 10 seasons. We are also allowing user created fighters now (we have a couple in the league now and 2 or 3 in the draft pool). My database has over 11,500 fighters in it now. If they didn't come from the TB Dev., team then they are user created fighters.

I also like the rule of using fighters that have been retired for five seasons and bring them back. Hall of Famers will never return unless by league vote. If we recycle like this, I see no need for a lot of user created fighters.

Nice job KC. This looks very good and balanced. This will probably be the one we take to a league vote.

Thanks, Sal. Should I start work on a new schedule based on a ten week season?

I hope to have the 4 new team names in the next couple of days. You can wait till we get them or go to work now. Whichever works best for you.
